Dallas Lead up

I'm going to keep this locked for a bit so we get our venting done in the game thread.

Dallas defense is garbage.

The lead up will be all about Micah. I hope he has a decent game. But getting a win heading into the bye is all that matters.

Really hope the Cleveland loss makes them focus and work. Winning on the road, as we just saw is not a walk in the park no matter who you play in the nfl.

If we want the expectations of being NFC favorites, then these are the kinds of games we should go out and absolutely stomp them. Fresh off probably the most embarrassing loss of the MLF era, these guys should be out for blood.

Only they know Tom's injury details, but let him sit this week and the bye, plus more weeks if longer. Get him right. Yesterday him playing just one play, it torpedos your plans and active roster decisions. Why do they clear him if he can't go?

MLF was annoyed about that in the presser after the game, rightfully. It feels similar to the Jaire weeks from last year where he'd take up the reps in practice and then last-minute couldn't go in the game.

Should be a nice get right game for the offense and also a decent test for the defense. That DAL/CHI score line looks a lot worse than it actually was due to 3-4 turnovers in Bears territory.

Ceedee might be out as well.

Tom absolutely needs to sit. He'll have a full 3 weeks to heal before the Bengals game. Hopefully that's long enough.

Jerry will order them to do everything possible to slow down Micah, even more than other teams do. LVN and Gary should be able to feast.

My Y! Fantasy app alerted me that Lamb is out 3-4 weeks with a high ankle sprain. Do not see any official reports of that, however.

The Packers have to absolutely blow them out of the water.

I get it. It makes sense, even if it looks kinda petty. I don't remember if the Packer organization formally celebrated the first returns of of Davante Adams, or Aaron Jones. The fans certainly welcomed them. I'd bet there will be more formal recogbition for those two someday when they retire. Will the Cowboys eventually do that for Micah? I can also imagine a mixed reception from the Dallas fans. Many honoring his contribution, but some pissed off that he left

Micah didn't win anything in Dallas and was only there for four years. There really isn't a reason to "welcome him back" or anything like that.

I'm willing to bet the Bucks will have a welcome back moment for Dame which is probably a pretty equal comparison

Hafley and his protege Campanile down in Jax are running circles around people. Hopefully MLF can get the offense moving in the right direction again. Not terrible but of the main contenders, we're lacking.

Dallas on the other hand is dreadful and if we lose or it's even a close game, I'll be worried.
