A more athletic but less polished smaller version of Beasley...yes. And at almost 30 million per annum would destroy our future rather quickly.

The slight chance of upside is that he could somehow develop into a Jaylen Brown hybrid type of player. But even that is a longshot!!

Beasley was way more skilled, way more talented and with the right attitude, could've been an all-star in this league. I don't see allstar potential in Kuminga at all

Also, he seems to not be happy with his current role on offense. We already have two guys who will be pretty heavily featured on offense in Book and Green, and then should get some touches as well - I'm particularly enthusiastic about a guy who seemingly wants to be 'the man' and reportedly starts pouting if he's not featured enough. We had one of those not too long ago and it didn't exactly work out

Thoughts on Mark Williams averaging 18pts and 10 rbds per game. Per 36 he put up 20.6 pts, 13.7 rbds, and 3.4 asts. Obviously health is key and if he can average 30 minutes per game I would expect some decent stats at the center position. I see him as the third scorer for the team behind Book and Green.

For sure he will be a 18/10 player ……for 25 games till he’s hurt for the remainder of the year.
I am such a lucky NBA fan. 8647 My favorite team went from the most greedy and racist owner to the most ego driven dumbass owner in all of sports fdt.

Only a fan of Arizona teams!

I have the utmost confidence in what he's able to bring on the court but admittedly have zero expectation of how many games he'll play for us.

Apparently training camp starting next week will be on live stream, so finally will be able to watch Suns basketball.

Very true!
Our best bet for star talent to replace Booker should he choose to leave or ask for trade or even when he retires would be our young core development and of course scouting ( if done diligently utilizing our few remaining picks).

Once those players develop, we can decide if they're long term fits or trade assets. Maybe Kuminga is more of a hyper athletic Earl (Clark that was also 6'9 or 6'10 but never panned out for us)??? Or perhaps a slightly smaller but much less athletic Mario Bennett perhaps??

25 games, that's

First round 4-1
Second round 4-2
Conference finals 4-3
Nba finals 4-3

Works for me

This is a major reason why I wasn't keen on the trade once things settled down and I had time to collect my thoughts. Say he has an absnormally healthy season....65 games for example, that would be 21 more than his next most healthy season and then how will you reconcile one healthy season vs the 3 other unhealthy seasons?

It's just fraught with risk

Let's **** go!!!

Mat Ishbia:
Steve Nash was an amazing player and exactly what the Phoenix Suns are all about. His grit, toughness, and winning mentality have defined our organization in the past, and I’m so excited to share that Steve is formally joining the @Suns as a senior advisor and will help us define our future for years to come!

This is what is being reported.

It's the slippery slope of being in the media: You're allowed to report on things that fall in your wheelhouse but not share your personal take on something outside it. And while I understand the Kirk situation is more a political one and outside his sporting related purview, he's still a regular dude with thoughts and feelings like everyone else. Much in the same vein as Kirk's musings, you don't have to like or agree with them.

Once a person has a job in a corporate space that is easily recognizable, this is what happens. Internet tribalism is fierce and without mercy and employers don't want any part in it. Him losing his gig once that came out is of little surprise to me.

I read his comments and I thought they were terrible and inapppropriate. It is fine he didn't like the political views of Kirk but the way he wrote it, if I recall, like he deserved to die or something was just plain wrong. And he faced those consequences. He had the right to say what he did but PHNX had the right to fire him.

Now, the show itself. It was already pretty bad when Gerald was on paternity leave. Erick Ruby is just too much of a homer. Stephen is good. But Gerald was kind of the glue - the real journalist. The show will be unwatchable with Espo Ruby and Stephen. My biggest problem with Eric during the summer talking about Booker but he couldn't see a path that the Suns trading Booker could make them better. It was a non-starter for hm
