MLF just needs to stop being so conservative when up 2 scores. I'll give him a slight break for last week, given the line play.

In general, I get being confident in the defense, and wanting to just chew clock, but man, it seems like whenever we actually want to score, we have been able too, pretty easily. We could have put both week 1 and week 2 games away a lot sooner and maybe even last week when the line settled down a bit in the 2nd half.

The loss of Lamb and Booker is going to hurt them a lot on offense. Dallas have been able to run the ball well so far and the trio of BeeBee-Booker-Smith was a big part of it. On defense their secondary is struggling with Eberflus system, they look like we did when Joe Barry was here. The only thing their defense does well is stop the run with Kenny and Osa in the middle. Their LBs can't cover at all so any type of success on the ground will open up huge plays in the passing game.

It all depends on the OL. They really need to figure things out. I've been disappointed with Jenkins so far, I thought he would be great at center but so far he's been mediocre. I was worried about the Banks signing cause his tape wasn't great and for the few snaps he's been there he hasn't looked good. Belton looks promising and although he was bad in CLE I haven't lost hope for Morgan, he needs to settle down to one position imo. This team will go as far as their OL will allow them.

Losing to Cleveland sucks but losing to Dallas would be catastrophically worse. Put the wounded animal out of its misery or fire Lafleur are the only 2 plausible outcomes for me. If we don’t pound the snot out of Dallas in similar or far worse fashion than we did Detroit and Washington, something ain’t right…

Offensive holding is just so BS to me. You can call it on every play. Unless it's something egregious it shouldn't be called.

As for false starts, we all know which team should lead the league in that but they refuse to call it on the tush push.

This game could be a defining moment. A loss tells me all I need to know, we aren't ready.

While I understand a win is a win, I'm expecting us to win convincingly. I'm talking 38-17 type of game. That will tell me this team means business. After an embarrassing loss, facing Dallas, Micah goes back home, Sunday night, bye week next week, and Love getting dragged in the media rightfully so.

We better beat the brakes off Dallas and if Love struggles in this game I will be right there with some of you saying start Willis.

Good decision.

Just don’t overthink the o-line. Let Belton get the start at RT and have Morgan settle in at LG if Banks can’t go.

Hand the heatset to Hafley , do not let him leave the building. I want to keep this defense in tact, so HC Hafley sounds good to me.

You're absolutely right they did overthink the whole thing. Once Belton got while he wasn't perfect he showed he could hang with these dudes and I saw plenty of reps where he stonewalled his guy. I think we got something in this dude.

No way I fire MLF to promote Hafley. No way. There are tons of good coordinators who made lousy HC's. We have a good HC. We can 20/20 hindsight decisions but the worse thing we can do is **** things up and fire MLF.

If there's any message I got out of his Monday presser, it's that MLF will be even more conservative than he was before, which is exactly the wrong message I want to hear from him.

I don't need him to become Dan Campbell-level aggressive, especially with how good our defense has been. But I also don't want him to become more conservative, either.

Play to win, not playing to avoid losing.

The RAE podcast speculated that since Kyle Shanahan & MLF were apart of the 28-3 choke job in the Superbowl is why they've both become really conservative when they have leads. Pretty famously Atlanta didn't run down the clock at all in that game and it likely cost them a superbowl. Now it seems its possible both Shanahan & MLF have overcorrected from that
