Has me all sorts of pist off.
Just dump kolek and stop fcking with my emotions.
Honestly, I think the move is to not bring Shamet on for the year. I'd be fine dumping Kolek but I don't think there's a huge market where a team just eats the salary and gives us future draft capital. I wouldn't make that trade.
You can see that at least somebody in management doesn't really want to dump Dadiet as well. Otherwise, they would have dumped Dadiet.Guano wrote:Dumping the greatest knicks prospect since frank...
Im disgusted that im going to complain about end of the bench roster management for a team that is competing for a championship but the heart wants what the heart wants. And also fck Rob. The kids are our future.
Its a poor use of draft capital to just abandon a prospect after 1 year. Especially when he is so young a raw. And we cant just expect washed ring chasing vets to fill out our roster. We need some youthful talent to hit. Especially with being capped and the lack of resources we have. Plus 3pac is has size and lastly but most importantly he is french.

Shamet would be our 11th vet. And we cant rely on Brogdon and Mitch.
Our depth is far from ideal.
We cant be too attached on a raw player that should be the next LaRavia 3 years from now if he is lucky.

sorry i can't understand this logic. Shamet will have salary too, so I prefer trying to develop a young guy (because I'm not a fortune teller, but He could be better than expected ), more value for a trade too instead of an average vet with no value -and for injury, without brogdon, clarkson and mcbride are the backcourt). Clearly for the last spots, I never understand prefer shamet instead of kolek dadiet or diawara.

We need a player that can play well now. Not. later. Our Windows is now. Dadiet is too raw.

That's our core and these guys are likely staying put for various reasons.
Deuce is good, can be traded, but isn't quite a core guy because of his contract situation. He probably won't be traded because there are very few players as good as he is for his contract rate. Deuce is more of a sweetener but we don't have the pot to sweeten.
Clarkson
Yabu
Brogdon
Shamet
These are mercenary signings, unlikely to be traded unless things REALLY don't work out.
Then there are the young guys - Huk, Kolek, Dadiet, McCullar, Diawara, etc.
I don't see where big trades are coming from this year unless we really are looking to flip KAT. I think the team is the team.
