Not crazy if you’re familiar with this front office

This is the team we all expected coming into the season. Took them a while but they're finally here

They were never winning this game with Scherzer vs Crochet
Bigger fail was yesterday and over the weekend

I'm expecting a 5 year extension for Shapiro and Atkins in the off-season, at least. Ed loves these guys.
John Schneider is going to win manager of the year, so he's staying too.
Fun times.
I can't see anybody beating Stephen Vogt given the run Cleveland is on.
This year end fade ends any chance he gets manager of the year.

Yeah he’s gone, they’ll scapegoat him for sure after this epic collapse and presumed WC sweep vs Boston.
Unfortunately I think we are still stuck with the clown brigade in the FO.

Vlad must be eating garbage again...poutine..lays ketchup chips. He looks brainless at the plate..no plan..nothing consistent.Just bad outs, and groundballs. His swing is ridiculous.Bo is so professional at the plate compared to Vlad.

Cleveland was in the playoffs last season though. The Jays finished last place. Still think Schneider gets it even if/when they collapse into a Wild Card Round.
Could see a scenario where Shapiro is extended, he extends Atkins, and then they can Schneider as a scapegoat if 2025 ends poorly (they didn't pick up his 2026 option prior to this season so they clearly kept that option in their back pocket).

It's mental with him. Always has been.
Judge is like that too (except Judge is at least historically good during the regular season).

Vladdy Jr is also historically good during the regular season at TD Ballpark in Dunedin

Vlad is hitting .136/.240/.182 in his playoff career. Wilting under pressure is probably the only thing he's done consistently in his career.
