The East hasn't been this wide open in my memory. The Cavs are the only complete team. The Magic are ascending. No veteran "been there, done that" team. No one has anyone that can defend healthy Giannis. I wish we had someone good enough that Myles Turner was our #3 option. Not that it will happen but "veteran buyout Jrue" would make us so tough to beat in a playoff series.

Its funny, but Its Lou F'ing Williams. Got spent less than 2 years as a bench guy on 17-win Lakers team a decade ago and he is acting like his jersey is hanging from the rafters. I didn't even remember him being a like. Dude made 9-figures and is annoyed he didn't get free ****.

The Warriors set an October 1 deadline for Kuminga to agree to an extension or accept the qualifying offer. So we should probably get some resolution with that within the next couple days.

Kawhi laying down a strong case that Kawhi knew what was going on here and felt it was all fine.

Yeah, was just going to say I don't remember him being on the Lakers at all. He was shipped out at the trade deadline of a 26 win season and won 17 games his first season. I don't think this is strong evidence of differences between the franchises.

Now the Kings can pivot to Kuzma and give us Monk and Devin Carter.

He shouldn’t feel guilty but he shouldn’t be surprised when he is punished for breaking an obvious league rule

Props to the Warriors -- Kuminga is a significantly more valuable trade asset than he otherwise would have been.

I was banging the drum of a Kuzma to Kings trade but I don't see it at this stage.

Think they're more likely to wait until January when they wouldn't have to deal with Kuminga sign and trade cap restrictions.

Westbrook might even be cool taking a few more months off as well, haven't heard a peep about him going anywhere else at least.

Seems like he was only stealing money from billionaires which is fine by me. At least it’s not like Favre stealing welfare money.

Lol dude violated (I assume) terms of being a member of thee PA and I'm sure there was standard language in the contract stating additional income to circumvent the cap isn't allowed. He put teams against each other making these demands he knew wasn't allowed and then entered into a side agreement where if caught his real contract could be immediately torn up and his new team given the death sentence.

A guy takes steroids - eh, he shouldn't feel guilty since in the grand scheme of things he wasn't on the Epstein list.

The NBA is pretty lucky in that the Clippers didn't win ****. If they did, how do you put that genie back into the bottle
