Kuminga's gotta be careful here. He's shown some impressive flashes here and there but hasn't really put it together for an extended period of time. His elite athleticism is what makes him an nba caliber player, and an injury could cost him tens of millions if he takes the qualifying offer.

Draymon and/or Jimmy organized mini-camp. Guess who's absent

not sure it means anything. Likely just injury protection until something is signed.

It's hilarious that the front office wants to preserve the after steph assets more than trying to win another championship with Steph.

He shouldn’t participate while in contract dispute and risk injury. This why it’s important to get deals done asap

Right. Nobody without a contract should be there. Which in the Warriors case is like half the team.

At the same time, Warrior fan hates every possible deal that comes up involving future draft picks.

Staying away from Draymond during camp is understandable given precedent.

That's why the front office feels no pressure to actually try to win. Warriors fans are too practical

I suspect he ends up in Sacramento with Derozan and a lottery protected first, instead of Monk, going to GS.

All four of Butler, Curry, Derozan, and Draymond drop off the books at the same time.

You're probably right:

PG - Butler - Melton
SG - Curry - Hield
C --- Horford - Post (or any jump shooting big)
PF - Green - Davis
SF - DeRozan - Moody

To take on Derozan salary warriors would also have to lose Moody or Hield.

Also, the main issue with fitting Jimmy/Dray/Kuminga last year was the lack of spacing since none of them are shooters. Bringing in Derozan while getting rid of one of the Warriors main shooting threats makes zero sense to me.

Yeah there is 0 chance the Warriors trade for Derozan.

Kuminga can buy salary insurance if he takes QO right?

I haven't been following this Kuminga drama super closely but the Warriors play a preseason game in 8 days. Is Horford still going to GSW? Seems like it's time to get off the pot and finalize the roster.

All reports are that Horford, Melton, GP2 and Seth Curry are all going to sign after JK is figured out.
