I think you guys are significantly underestimating the amount of time Kuzma will get at the 3. Last year Giannis, Bobby and Turner played a combined 89.8 minutes per game. I don't think that changes significantly and Sims will probably get of what is left. Unless its a game where one or more of those three is out, I think Kuzma's minutes are going to come overwhelmingly at the 3.

That said, I do think there's still a good chance Kuzma gets traded before opening day or early in the season

I think you’re probably right, which is why I’d trade him for any expiring contract at this point.

Additionally, assuming this is true, I just don’t see where all these guys get minutes. It still feels like to me that Dairy is likely on the move.

This would be a disaster but reading the opening night GT with this starting lineup would be an all-time epic.

Deal 1:
Milwaukee: Terry Rozier (waived), two second round picks from Miami
Sacramento: Kuzma and Tyler Smith
Miami: DeMar Derozan

Deal 2:
Milwaukee: Tari Eason
Houston: Green, AJAX (NG deal gets them flexibility under 1st apron to sign a minimum deal to replace FVV [Brogdon/Westbrook (lol)/whoever])

KPJ - Anthony
Trent - Rollins (plays PG as well)
Prince - Coffey (plays SG as well)
Giannis - Eason (plays SF as well)
Turner - Bobby (plays PF as well)

Sims
Harris

I actually love this team.

Agree on Kuz. The wrong player, even at his best.

Re Dairy, it'd be the wrong move but I 100% see where you're coming from.

I don't know about a promise but i'm sure he looked at the Bucks roster and saw he wasn't going to be blocked by any star.

I'd be shocked if AJ Green isn't on the team, and playing a major role. He's a huge part of why Horst thinks this is a good team.

Agree, Memphis tried really hard to deal him before they released him and ate the salary. There was no market for him.

He didn't finish last season with that starting lineup, and that was before Horst put an emphasis on the lineups that were actually successful.

I understand that Prince/Kuzma gave many PTSD, but the evidence shows their stranglehold on this team is weakening.

If Kuzma starts, it'll simply be to drive up his trade value.

Remember they stretched him, so they were likely only considering trades that substantially lowered their 25-26 salary obligations. With the crunch this off-season, reflects less badly on Anthony in context. Clearly nobody was lining up to absorb his salary at any rate, at least not without compensation.

All the better for us. Perfect dice roll at the minimum.

Season tipoff event tomorrow afternoon 12-4 in the Deer District. FYI.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I get the idea of trying to raise the value of a player but when has it worked for a winning team? I imagine there are examples but I can't think of them.

I'm talking about trades during an NBA season.

I'm not in any way advocating for this in any way, but theres millions of worse plans. Dumars just traded his 1st next year protected to move up to the 12th pick. We gave up assets for Kyle Kuzma. There's 2 already.

Kuz is a sunk cost at this point. Cut bait and move on. Keep his ass off the court

If Kuz plays well enough to boost his trade value, then he is probably worth having on the team.

I feel like this season is going to be one of those ironic things where a lot of people thought the Bucks would win the east or at least go on a run when they acquired Dame. But they ended up winning a total of 3 playoff games in 2 seasons.

Now that Dame is gone and a lot of people are writing the Bucks off, the Bucks are going to be really good and actually go on that run everyone thought that they would with Dame.

I haven't been this hyped for a Bucks season since the 2021'22 season.

The only damper is that Doc is still our coach.
