I was actually thinking that stylistically Brown was talking a lot like Fizdale.
Brown knows how to manage a team though. He's proven in that regard. So I don't read too much into that.

Berman knows well how to troll serious fans. That's how he earned his bread throughout his career, so why should he be any different now? Maybe he's a bit jealous he's not still working and gets an even bigger thrill doing this out of spite. I'm not sure "aging gracefully" would apply to Marc.
