Worst stadium in the NBA

Post#1 » by GrindCityHustle » Fri Sep 26, 2025 5:42 pm

Do any fans consider their stadium gross or outdated compared to other NBA teams.

Which team is considered to have the worst and which one the best.

Never been to a single one, I wonder what would be the worst, but I imagine Clippers new one would be the best, right?

According to a bunch of reports.. people complain about Memphis a whole lot and players hate the practice facility as it feels like a dungeon (no windows).

San Antonio might be up there but it's a hush hush type of town where they don't want to besmerich their city in any way. Even the controversies of that organization doesn't get talked enough and would be the laughing stock of the league if it made it to mainstream headlines.

I wish the Warriors or Kings had stayed in their old, outdated arenas. Parking was easier, there weren't screens in every nook and cranny distracting from the game, and the fans actually mattered when there wasn't noise being blasted throughout the game. The best games I ever went to were at the old Oakland Coliseum before the renovation. The arena didn't even have replay but it didn't matter because you felt like you were a part of the game. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to pick up some more Geritol as I'm running low.

When you attend an Oklahoma City Thunder game, you have to deal with a pre-game religious invocation where everyone is supposed to pray to Jesus. So, there's that to consider...

I know this is a thread about the worst, but. The Fieldhouse in Indy is now 25 years old. It was considered the best "basketball" arena in the world when it was first built. Still top notch, from what I've been told. I've never been to another one. :D

This list is before the new Clipper Arena was finished (Currenting being scheduled for demolition)

This is what you pull up when talking NBA controversies, a player cheating on his wife? Come on now.

A lot of people don’t know that Tony Parker was the first NBA player ever to cheat on his wife. It’s history.

Target Center.

2nd oldest stadium in the NBA (only MSG is olde - and that's a landmark). And it doesn't have the footprint of infrastructure to be upgraded to have modern amenities.

Thinking about this makes me realize I need an East Coast trip to go to a bunch of NBA stadiums one day. Haven't been to any EC home games except... The Washington Wizards (Capital One Arena). Every other stadium I've been to is West of Mississippi River (OKC, DEN, SAS, PHX, SEA , SAC)

I’ve been to a few stadiums. Washington, Philly, Boston, MSG, Crypto, Target, Chase

Target Center stood out, the bowl set-up is weird and the concourse and entrance are cramped and dark with a weird wood interior

We'll be getting a new stadium downtown soon after building a new training facility complex. So that's exciting.

By whomst? You don't even get live box scores on the internet from games in Indy half the time.
