Vlad should watch highlights of himself from 2021 and the second half of last year. He looks like the shell of a player he was 4 years ago, or even last year in the second half.

Cant believe that has not been said by Buck or Dan or anybody, that Vlad has been looking at his swings from that season.

They should go with the same lineup they had today. That means no IKF or Santander starting. Kirk needs to man up and be the Starting Catcher for three straight days (something he has not done all year). In terms of the bullpen, I want Brendon Little and Jeff Coughman nowhere near the pitching mound. They can join the celebration afterwards if the Jays win the division.

I’m not sure if I am the only one. Might be.

I’m happy about what the team has done the last 3 games (yes there are the flaws), but it’s 3 essential wins in a row. Smile.

If its not the same lineup fire Schneider on the spot.Clement Lukes Schneider are all good at hitting fastballs, and breaking balls.

The typical Schneider move would have Lukes on the bench tomorrow.

Santander needs to be in the lineup against a LHP, one of Lukes or Barger will be sitting for sure (as they should be)

Looking forward to Sunday. Going into the season I had no expectations that the Jays could win the AL East.

Hopefully John Schneider takes the game seriously and doesn't start IKF with a lefty on the mound.

Assuming they don’t bench Vlad as I’ve suggested, this should be the lineup:

Springer (DH)
Clement (3B)
500M man (1B)
Kirk (C)
Schneider (2B)
Varsho (CF)
Santander (LF)
Lukes (RF)
Gimenez (SS)

No reason we need to be starting IKF or Straw in the biggest game of the season

Only player on this team that can punish a meatball this year is unc. Vlad is just unpredictable. Spin a slider middle-middle to him and chances are it's a take or a rocket ground ball.

I really liked that about the 2015 team. There were 3 guys on that team where you could almost call a home run before the swing just based on the pitch.

Tony is starting tomorrow, he had some good swings against Crochet. I assume Barger sits till Jax comes in and he can hit for Davis or Gimenez. Need a huge start from Gausman tomorrow tho.

All these months later and people still whine about vlads contract after wins. None of you foresaw this team winning 93 games

Vladdy will prove all the haters wrong tomorrow. He will go 3-4 with 2x HRs and a double while giving us gold glove defense. And he won't make any base running mistakes.

This felt like the Jays in mid-season form. Not everything firing all at once, but enough to always keep the line moving and get it done.

One game left to go, and we're very much in the driver's seat.

I feel like John Schneider isn't going to be able to stop himself from completely loading up the lineup with righties against Seymour tomorrow by starting Heineman and DHing Kirk:

RF Springer
SS Clement
1B Vlad
DH Kirk
LF Santander
2B Davis
CF Straw
C Heineman
3B IKF

Has he hit 2 homers in all of September?

He can't get the ball off the ground right now
