It’s so disheartening watching Darnold play and knowing he wanted to stay in Minny and the front office just said, “nah we’re good, we’re going to go with a handoff merchant with below average physical tools.”

Don’t get me wrong, not saying he’s Allen/Lamar level good. But he’s a game manager+. He is so damn good and doing the simple things, while having the high level physical tools to toss in a few “wow” plays in there.

We're not that far removed from Darnold completely folding in the games that mattered. Let's at least see him win some playoff games before we get filled with regret.

TBF he's been the most efficient QB through 4 weeks according to PFF. The efficiency stats back it up too. He's played very well.

Duke can also be very reactionary from week to week. He was all-in on McCarthy after week one. So, things can change quickly on that front.

He's a regular season QB. He will choke in the PO's

These quotes from Jerry re. Michael Parsons... He is just begging to see his team get destroyed by 50 at this point.

People forget but Russ basically had to do most of the heavy lifting from 2018-2020, post Sherman. The defense was mid at best during those 3 years.

It's no secret that Sherm has never really taken a liking to Russ. But that's because they come from different backgrounds & are very different people.

Sherm has always wanted to be the face of the team & to get the credit. When he doesn't get it, he lashes out.

Sherman is not alone, Marshawn Lynch also goes after Russ every chance he gets, and there were a lot of rumblings in Denver about players disliking him and not taking him seriously. Russell Wilson is just not a very well liked person in NFL circles period.

Yup, with Darnold problem is not the regular season, he probably has the least clutch gene in the NFL after Dak.

Not really. Sherm is really the only guy to publicly take shots at him. Marshawn is a different kind of cat. Metcalf & Lockett we're two of his closest friends on the team. He had a closer bond to the guys on offense.

Marshawn Lynch...

Marshawn Lynch has always been very outspoken when it comes to his NFL career. However, in a recent appearance on Shannon Sharpe's "Club Shay Shay" podcast, Lynch didn't have a ton to say regarding former teammate Russell Wilson.

While describing their relationship as teammates, Lynch admitted that Wilson was "just a quarterback" to him.....

Marshawn Lynch said in an interview that he doesn't even have Russ's phone number. When he tried to reach out, Russ had one of his assistants call back on a blocked number.

He just comes across as extremely inauthentic.

After his Denver stint it seems like every month there was an article about how and why he was so hated in nfl. You can start with here...

There have been a lot of assertions made about Russell Wilson over the past few years: He's kind of a diva, he has a huge ego, he associates himself more with management than with players, he's too focused on his brand, he's a cornball. But after having his worst year as a quarterback since he was drafted in 2012 and leading, along with coach Nathaniel Hackett, the sinking ship that was the 2022 Denver Broncos, the knives have really come out. There have been subtle digs from his former coach, less subtle digs from his former teammates, and even a kicker getting in jabs.

To be fair to Sherman, it doesn't really seem like he's wrong. The theme that keeps coming up in all these stories about Wilson is that he's separated himself from the guys on his team, behaving almost as a second coach on the field, or even worse, the "cool boss"—the type of guy who will throw three interceptions and then bring in a frozen margarita machine on casual Fridays to seem like he's still your pal. It's annoying, sure, maybe even lame. Is it that different from Aaron Rodgers or Tom Brady? I'm not totally convinced.

If there is a reason that can be pinpointed as to why there seems to be so much ire directed as Wilson, it's that he comes across as a phony. The one thing people universally respond badly to is fakeness

Still a lot of resentment from former teammates for Mr New York blowing SB XLIX.

The Baldwin tweet was because he tried to get Pete fired behind his back. That's where a lot of the animosity came from. You saw a lot of former players who we're close to Carroll, back him.

He did have a falling out with Golden Tate. Him & Marshawn weren't very close. But some of that is just pettiness.

I loved the Broncos Country let's ride in like week 7 after he's walking away from the podium. That will forever be funny to me lol

El Turco, 49ers in Istanbul might happen at some point.

Maybe 49ers@Rams because it would be a home game for LA in Rams Park.

Speaking in an ON THE field sense. After watching the Charger Denver game. I Strongly believe the late in the game DEEP BALL throws missed by Bo Nix, would have definitely been completions by Russ.

I doubt Istanbul would make even a 16 city list. I am thinking about going to the Munich game this year, whoever is playing.

Istanbul is one of the largest cities in Europe, so why not? (I will count Constantinople as European.)

Although there will probably be a Paris game beforehand.

This year's Germany game is in Berlin, not Munich. But it's Falcons/Colts so you'd get to see the MVP.

There is zero interest; people wouldn't go even for the novelty of it like they do in other European cities.

For some reason I thought they played in Munich every year lol, I guess they were just there 2 out of last 3 years.
