They paid Hal and that's all that really matters. Hell, we don't even need to do anything else this year. We made the playoffs as a Wild Card and that's a success in Hal's book.

We gotta give credit to the other teams that helped the Mets pull off the legendary, historic collapse!!!! The 3rd time they've been destroyed by the Marlins on the last day!

Credit to the Marlins - they skipped Alcantara's start against the Phillies, dooming their own playoff hopes. They played Alcantara against the Mets instead and beat them 6-2!

Shoutout to the Reds too - these guys were mediocre as eff all season, but damn, they went 8 - 3 in their last eleven games!

Credit to the Brewers - they gave the Mets their crappy GM and kept the real architect of their team

Credit to the Yankees - we gave them bums like Holmes and Montas! If those guys weren't crappy ex-Yankees, would the Mets have signed them?

You go to the pen when you need to your ace should be able to throw over 100 pitches in the playoffs. The purpose of an ace is to make it easier for your pen to finish the game and be to be able to have your pen fresh for tomorrow.

This notion of a pen carrying you in the postseason is such an overrated concept.

Really appreciate Luke and what he’s done for us but he can’t be trusted right now. He needs to get benched and enjoy his 80/3 from the Mets next year
