I can’t believe we’re going into the post season with coughman as our closer still

We're also going to start Scherzer

thats probablly worst than Hoffman closing tbh

Hoffman has been "lights out" in September.

We could have used a random lineup generator today and done better.

At this point we should move vladdy out of the 3 spot he has done jack all. Based on his swing does anyone expect him to turn it around in the postseason?

Wherever moved,he should bat behind Kirk,or whoever our hottest hitter is because right now he needs all the protection he can get,and maybe that will help, but based on his swing,no,i wouldnt expect anything but the same popups, groundballs, unless he somehow hits a ball on a line or a deep HR,then maybe the slump will be over then. His swing needs to flatten out more.Looks like he is trying to punch the ball with his bat.

I think his swing is the flattest in the league…

Better be a quick hook for Max if he gets hit.BP is back, now that its cooler weather, and not hot hazy humid. No more tired arms.

He should not be if this front office wants to win. If I were Atkins I would do to Hoffman, what I did to Berrios. Put him on the DL and tell him to be ready for Spring Training 2026. Hoffman throwing 94 mph meatballs with poor command is a recipe for disaster in the post-season.

He got bailed out by a terrible umpire last time. Just create a phantom injury for him like "Mental Health or Stress" or just bring him into the game during blowouts like Chad Green.

I compare his swing to Springers or Kirks, and it looks god awful. Not sure what he is trying to do with his swing.Looks like he is pulling off the ball as well.

Amazing how the brutal sickness subsided just in time for the final game of the year though. Glad you recovered and were able to turn a baseball game on

It didn't magically subside just in time for the final game of the year. I've been on the mend for a few days now, but I've been busy with other things in life after being unable to do anything for over a week.

Stop being such an ass. You have single-handedly made this board unbearable at times over the past 8 weeks despite the Jays being en route to their best season in 10 years.

It’s such a joy then to have you stop in to post though I notice you conveniently avoided the thread where you claimed the Jays had already effectively won the division 2 weeks ago and said it was all but guaranteed

I waited a few days Randle and the Yankees have yet to take the division. I haven’t avoided this forum i’ve been waiting for the post-season since August.

2 of our 3 biggest slumpers have had some hard hit balls the last few games.

Glad to see the jays offense wake up the past 4 games after all those 1 runners. Going into the postseason with good momentum.

Only Vlad has still not done something
