I have already declared Le Berricade ready to play as well as Dilly. That is my word and as such is beyond contestation.

Reminds me of old days when MIN both lacked talent and size. I mean thad Young, Treveon Graham, Josh Okogie and his effective height.

I don't remember this guy. Why did you post this in The Wolves media day thread?

It's finally here. Wolves official Media Day. Hopefully something exciting will come of it. Finch announces Dilly as the starting PG for the season.

He's definitely a fringe guy on this team though. The interesting thing to track will be if it lights a fire in Leonard Miller. Because that's the NBA upside for Johnson right now. If Johnson has a chance to crack the NBA, Leonard would need to watch his back. At worst though, Alize spends the year in Iowa.

Still need to remind myself that MIN have both Bones Hyland and Tristen Newton behind DDV, Conley and Rob

I think the issue isn't what is behind them but what do we have in front of them? Maybe Russell Westbrook?

OK thanks. He seems a bit like Crash if you know what I'm talking about. Probably just my imagination running away with me.

I don’t have the time to watch all of these interviews

Can anyone tell me their biggest surprises from the interviews, and Britt’s article?

Ant looks great, poised and seems like he is ready to lead and make an MVP run this year.

Julius and Donte are relaxed and comfortable heading into year 2.

I’m really rooting for Rob but his interview was a whole lotta nothing

On the flip side, my favorite two interviews were from Bones and Jaylen Clark; super thoughtful and self aware of what they can and cant do for this team.

Rudy taking time off from international basketball to focus in his mind and body might unlock a new version of Rudy since he took the time to work on his game and what this team needs

Jaden and Naz both acknowledged they need to be bigger factors (Jaden with offense, Naz with being the anchor on D when Rudy isnt on the court) ..they know they are the trio along with Ant that can take the next step to make this team championship material.

Overall, they are banking on continuity and are looking to have a fast start this season since they all know each other, kinda like the Pacers last year

I would agree with both of these.

I think Jaylen is extremely self-aware. He understands that trying to do too much in Vegas affected his overall play. Defense is his staple, and shooting will always be his swing skill. He will play more than we think, I bet. Has a Kyle Anderson "teacher's pet" vibe, for lack of a better term.

Bones understands where he is in his career. He's appreciative to Connelly, and I think he takes his mentorship role for Rob seriously.

I think it's still going to be hard for him.

Dane has talked about it a lot. The main times that Finch trusted Rob were when the opponents had a smaller point guard, or in case of injury.

Here's the start of the season
at Portland: Jrue Holiday....nope
at Lakers: Maybe if Vincent or Bronny is out there, otherwise nope
vs Indiana: Nembhard and McConnell....possibly
vs Denver: Doubtful
vs Lakers: See above
at Hornets: Possible
at Nets: Possible
at Knicks: Doubtful
