What exactly is going on with him? The article is behind a paywall. I remember I figured out you could right click and open those Sun Sentinel links in an incognito tab years ago and it would work but now they no longer have that exploit lol.

My dad has been in the hospital 3 weeks today dealing with infections coming and going and a ton of just other random things going on so this one hits close to home unfortunately, if I didn’t force him basically to let me take him to the hospital he probably would’ve died in his sleep that night. Those infections are definitely no joke

Glad you forced your pops to get medical attention. My mom got terminally ill because she had faith in herbal/natural remedies, and by the time she went and got medical attention it was too late.

That sucks man I'm sorry to hear that. It's tough to see your dad have health issues. Mine just had a stroke this summer and is out of the hospital now but his speech was badly affected.

Damn, that's a tough read about poor Andy. I hope the guy gets better soon, that's no joke. Nice to hear the organisation has been rallying around him all the same.

I am 55 now and my body feels great and I can still do all my moves but just not as fast nor jump as high. No pain. But, I never push it like I used to go all out. I am always concerned about tearing a ligament. I don't push my body at all as I am super conservative in my old age but still can do the moves. I did tear my achilles 25 years ago at 30 while getting a rebound in a gym and the loud pop echo'd thru the gym and everyone stopped. I was preparing for a 3 on 3 tournament happening in a month. I hobbled to the car and drove home, then went to hospital in the morning hoping it wasn't what I thought it was. I did compete in the 40 and over league for a few years. Was competitive with 2 referee's, shot clock and all. That was fun, the people were not.

I envy you. I can't do an imaginary cross over without pain. It's depressing as hell

I feel you. I’m 38 and just had to give up ball. Depressing.

Some good news for me in that I just completed 8 miles of hiking over Blood Mountain in Georgia which involved much rock jumping and climbing. Felt no pain except the last mile going down the mountain as my left knee got sore, but only hurt when I did extrenous jumps or large step downs. Better yet, my 13 year old dog did it all with ferver and energy.

Who will be the elite off ball mover?

Ware, Achiuwa, Fontecchio, Larsson, Jaquez, Johnson or someone else?
