He's been 30MPG quasi-starter on an elite contender, he's 39, so he may drop off, but as it is, you don't get these players for the TPMLE...

I expect JK to play hardball all the way to Oct 1 to try to squeeze more out of the Warriors. I don't see him signing the QO, he could have done that months ago if he just wanted out. He wants out eventually, but securing the bag first is the hold up.

I have a hard time seeing the Warriors budge, that reported 3 year 75+ deal is more than fair as Kuminga is a ? for the time being.

Those numbers always need an asterisks because there's ALWAYS a team option tacked onto the end, which is the major holdup with the deal.

Sure, but October 1 is just around the corner.

My god, so much unnecessary dismissal. There’s not a contender in the NBA who wouldn’t benefit from give or take 20 minutes of Al Horford. It’s good depth. Between him, Draymond and Post they have 3 bigs who don’t clog the paint. Pretty good considering they don’t have a lot to offer in salary or trade.

Curry will be one of the most productive guards in the NBA almost as always. It’s all about what the wings can produce for them as two way players (Butler, Kuminga?, Moody, Hield, etc.). That’s where they need a major talent upgrade, a consolidation trade probably.

I don't know you...but it hurts for me to even bench press 315 these days. We're all getting old. This is an old man nba fan club and the players are starting to all be not just younger than us, but way younger! We old!

Which part of you hurts? :lift: I thought bench press was done laying down, so is it your arms that hurt?

A passing, shooting center who can hang out above the break fits into this offense hilariously well. For however many minutes he can play, he'll make life so much easier for Draymond and particularly Jimmy Butler, who can now attack inside against less help.

On defense... Jimmy/Dray/Al is so stupid.

If Al Horford had come to this team younger, it would have been absolutely unfair. Al is going to be 20 minutes a night but this will be fun.

Fully health this is going to be epic ball...but will they be healthy isn't a question but a dream.

At least they've added a ton of depth. They have 12 guys they consider rotation players. I hope they go full 2014 Popovic with the rotation, and don't have anyone play 30mpg. I'll roll my eyes if we're a month into the season and Curry is playing normal started minutes. He played 32mpg last year, and I'd love to see that come down another tick. Lean on the depth with the hope that they're healthy for the playoffs.

Or they can be 1997 Rockets. As long as Curry plays at a high level I think they will be closer to 1997 version than 1999.

I feel like the last 5 years just didn't happen....and then I see that my beard went from having a few white hairs 5 years ago to being 90% grey now. Getting older sucks lol.

Embrace the gray!

Keeping your beard trimmed to a shadow look keeps it looking as youthful as possible. The fuzzier, the older.
Fortunately my hairline is still fully in tact and projects to be into older age based on the men in my family. If it weren’t then I’d definately have a mid-life situation

Side note, Grayson Allen is a few days away from 30 years old and I expect him to be fully gray by seasons end. I always liked him but his refusal to dye endears him even more to us geezers.

But yeah, the Warriors will be an absolute gift to hardcore fans as long as they’re whole, the leagues best net rating in such games is almost a lock. The collective BBIQ of their old man core is historic to put it mildly. Horford is gonna love how much Podz can duplicate a lot of the crazy plus impact White brings.

I hear you. In that case it’s cool to go thick on the beard to even out your face. I wouldn’t mind being bald at all if my beard fully connected, which it doesn’t :(

I would be a bigger fan if I didn't have "day walker" skin tone. But what can you do. Just gotta accept it. You get more respect with the grey anyway, they assume you might know something.

Unfortunately, this is going to be this years Caruso to OKC. Role player who's good at everything and fits like a glove in a well oiled machine.

Horford and Green is a frontcourt combo who can switch on guards and guard the post, and defend the rim. Horford can shoot unlike Looney and is a high IQ passer who doesn't try to score outside of his skillset. He's perfect for their system. It sucks.

If they can stay healthy, and thats a big if, Golden State is a finals contender and a strong one IMO.

Karl Malone illegal screen notwithstanding, neither of those Rockets squads won a title, though.

He was born in 1988. 2026 - 1988 = 38. Does that make sense?

Hah, nice. But you know what i meant, just that it went by so fast it's crazy.

One of those teams was a contender, and the other was a pretender. The question was whether the team is a contender or not. If OKC plays like last year it is hard for anyone else to win the chip. IMO reaching the CF makes a team a contender.

Even the 14 spurs werent this old..actually I cant remember any team being this old in the SL. They do have some youth but unfortunately for them none worth building around.
