I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

Through 4 weeks Jordan Love is #1 in the NFL in adjusted EPA/Play & #3 in CPOE

Love had an atrocious 4th quarter against the Browns, but has otherwise been very good so far. He kept putting the the team into good positions last night while dealing with a lot of pressure and having to play from behind for most of the second half.

Re: Jordan Love Thread - All Aboard the Love Train
I honestly think that we're so used to HOF-level brilliance that we see anyone who falls short of that as being "not the guy."
Is Love a Top 5 QB? Not in my view right now.
Does he need to be a top 5 QB to be "the guy?" No.
I would consider him a top 10 QB and I think he puts more on the table than he takes off of it. He seems to run LaFleur's scheme well. He makes tough throws under pressure. He doesn't seem rattled out there. He could have caved against Cleveland and Dallas and yet he drove the teams down to score when he needed to.
Many QBs will miss passes from time to time or make mistakes under pressure. I just need Jordan to cut out the mental mistakes wherever possible. The pick against Cleveland. Nearly running out the clock last night.

Running out the clock was not entirely his fault, Matt has a lot to do with that, eventually he will need to let Love call his own plays in those situations.
Also I believe he has the talent to be a top 5 QB in the NFL. He's getting better at making the right decisions and he's starting to use his feet more which is a huge plus. He only has 37 starts in this league, I see a lot of room for growth and he's already off to a good start this season. He doesn't have Rodgers pinpoint accuracy or Favre monster arm but he has everything you need to be great. I truly believe he'll be a MVP candidate this year.

Not sure how much more someone could want out of their QB - every one of them has flaws, but looking back at the most recent few MVP QBs..
Jodan Love (On pace) 4,250yds, 69% completion, 33TD, 4INT
Josh Allen (2024 MVP) 3,731yds, 64% completion, 28TD, 6INT
Lamar Jackson (2023 MVP) 3,678yds, 67% completion, 24TD, 7INT
Patrick Mahomes (2022 MVP) 5,250yds, 67% completion, 41TD, 12INT
Aaron Rodgers (2021 MVP) 4,115yds, 69% completion, 37TD, 4INT
Aaron Rodgers (2020 MVP) 4,299yds, 71% completion, 48TD, 5INT
Would say Love's right on pace w/ Aaron's 2021 campaign and right there with Allen, Jackson and Mahomes. We have a lot of fixing to do as a team, but I think Jordan is one of the few bright spots that has shown consistent development.

I do think the bar he's compared to is crazy HOF play for a couple decades.
During Aaron Rodgers prime, if his throw was off target on a ball under 30yrds it was almost shocking... Like... How did that happen?
Crazy standards.
I do think Love is somewhere in the top 5-8 qbs in the league.
His ceiling is an MVP and a #1 qb in the league.
I don't know if he will reach it, some of those overly risky throws look hardwired in. And he does miss some throws. And sometimes a player has to slow down or change direction to catch the ball and therefore can't flat out sprint post catch. Unlike Rodgers where if the receiver just opens their hands the ball is caught in stride.
Again that's an insane standard, that's HOF GOAT level of qb play.
What I will say...Love seems to be able to come back even after a bad throw. He seems to move on and get back out there. I see a resilience in him that is powerful. A lot of guys crumble.
And it's not that he can't make a good throw, that last td to doubs was beautiful. A dart over the LB and right to doubs on the money. It was gorgeous.
I don't expect him to be a hall of fame qb, and he doesn't have to be. I think bouncing around top 5-8 QB in his prime years is pretty darn good. I think he will at times hit top 4. But at lot of the rankings are based on team performance too.

Rodgers is the best at throwing the damn ball, even Brady says it, so it's very unlikely there will be someone like him AND playing for us.
Love is good and at least he doesn't have that crazy things that Aaron brought every offseason (yet). Top 10 for sure, Top 5 depending on the season and MVP candidate depending on win/loss record, OL and WR/TE.

So true, Aaron is the best to ever throw that rock and it spoiled us like crazy. I just think it's sad that a lot of fans (GB and rivals) can't appreciate JLove's game. He has a lot of haters out there and I don't get why. He can make all the throws, he's tough, big frame, good athlete, calm, smart and his teammates love him. So far he's been easily one of the best QBs in the league and it looks like it will be his breakout season. Sure he's made mistakes but I don't see that as a negative, you can see that he's learning and growing from them. He's a tireless worker and he wants to be the best. After the whole Aaron saga he's been a breath of fresh air, no drama, just football and he's fun to watch. He only has 37 starts so there's a lot of room to grow here still.
