I remember when all the players used to talk to the media. We didn't get KPJ, AJ Green, Kuzma, Rollins, Thanasis? I would have been interested in hearing from all of them
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

Giannis is too pure that even if he did have the meeting and forgot about it, he won't lie if he doesn't remember, which for better or worse, he's just being him.
However, Shams and the hogs that cover this league will twist those words to fit their agenda and even though it's unfair and not realistic to put that on Giannis, I sometimes just wish he would be a little more forthcoming about his future and put to rest rumors about him leaving so we don't feel like we have to walk on eggshells 24/7. I get the angle of trying to keep pressure on the club to make winning moves, but you can also step into mistakes by rushing and not being patient with your process trying to claw for another ring. It also just makes the team sound/look dysfunctional or not on the same page if you have the owner and star player telling two different stories.

Bobby is the best
listening to him talk about Milwaukee, and how much he loves this city and these guys is great. Looking forward to a really big year off the bench for him.

I promise we don't have to do this.
The board is waking up after the summer hiatus. Clenching up over Giannis is not surprising.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

He's not retiring. He has mentioned toward the back nine of his career (late 30's) potentially finishing out his playing days in Greece right before retirement. He's not going anywhere anytime soon. He has floated the idea to Mariah whether they want to live in Milwaukee or Athens after he does retire, as he wants his kids to go to school there (most likely a private school). But I could just as well see him simply playing his last game as a Buck and then quietly chilling in the suburbs of Milwaukee.
Ahh context matters I should’ve listened to the whole interview instead of a clip

I was thinking he was talking current discussions

hes either going to be westbrook in okc after durant moved on....or steph after durant moved on.
those are the two options
im 100% in on giannis as a buck for life i would just say that at any point he coesnt extend within a year of his contract ending we shouyld move him. that would basically be him requesting out. obviously if he requests out i would think it would be a private moment between him and management and at that point wed just agree...give him the biggest side hug ever....and move him for whatever possible picks and upside were to be avialable. it would be a ransom.
then as fans we admit that the next 5 years would be total pleasure debating an open cap and all the the draft picks ever with a **** actul impact on w-l during the seasons. it would be unreasonable to assume we would get the next SGA back in trade that OKC got but thats the swing we should probably try for

Kuzma looks like he slimmed down a bit. Doesn’t strike me as a guy that doesn’t care, hoping for the best this season. I know he admitted to not being in the best shape last year on the Wizards.

I’m really excited to see these 3 play. You can interchange them with one another and still have an awesome front court out there with a unique skill set. Such a leap from Lopez where you knew what you were getting if he was on the floor. I think the talking heads are really downplaying the Bucks versatility this season.

The issue isn’t that he didn’t care. The issue is he isn’t good. 0/0/0/0/0

Being fat, our of shape, and completely unprepared skill wise lead to 0-0-0-0-0. I don't like his game, but he could be less bad until he's dealt.

Even if we waive Ajax we still don't have a space for Coffey

Maybe the waive Livingston and give Livingston a two way spot? He still gets the NBA salary and the Bucks are so far under the tax, it won’t matter.

It is a competitive advantage to withhold information from teams with which you are competing.
