Re: Warriors Free Agency 2025
So, Marks has the 14 player salary total at $184,333,093. But he has entries for Apron 1 Salaries and Apron 2 Salaries as $184,796,056. Can someone explain the $462,963 extra in the apron salaries?
Also, he has Post at $1,935,377, while Spotrac has him at $1,955,377. I guess Marks has the correct amount, but I don't see any other source that matches his amount.
Edit: Never mind. Apparently, Moody has a small amount of unlikely incentives that need to be accounted for in the apron and luxury tax calculations.

Kind of surprised they're giving Richard a 4-year deal. It's not a ton of money but for a team perpetually up against cap/tax barriers that's a little surprising, they must really like him.

Only the first two seasons are guaranteed. It's the same contract structure that was signed by TJD. And as a drafted 2nd round pick signed to the rookie minimum, he's $1M less against the aprons and the luxury tax than a vet minimum contract this season. For a team that might be up against the 2nd apron with a Kuminga non-QO contract signing, the Warriors need every dollar of space they can get.

This was my assumption too

Thats pretty great news for Dubs since we know Pat can eat real NBA minutes if needed. I’d like to keep Taran as well… maybe we go with Pat, Taran, and Toohey as the 2way guys. Jackson Rowe is the other guy that fits our “old vet” type 2way contract.

I think the 3 2 ways are Pat, Toohey, and Rowe

Is Seth Curry still rumored to be signing with the team? Is he really even necessary?

You can never have too much shooting IMO. Especially when a couple of the core players aren't shooters.

Yes. But, can the team ever be too small?

Not a fan….I would have been ok with the team just washing their hands of this past drafts picks .

His summer league performance was pretty rough if you ask me.

I thought he was signing overseas instead of accepting a two-way offer from the Warriors.
Regardless, if the Warriors keep submitting the qualifying offer for him, he remains a RFA with the Warriors.
