Watching Fields throw the ball is like watching Tebow throw it. That funky, clunky mechanical throwing motion. And it seems like half the time he throws it, you’re wondering, “did that get tipped?”. Because it comes out so inaccurate and looking like a ball that you see after a FG attempt gets blocked, with it looking like a knuckleball

I would’ve loved to hear the thought process of why a team would draft Tua over Herbert.

Like the physical tools difference is just so massive. Watching Tua trying to extend plays and make throws on the run is just so hard to watch. Then you got Herbert who is basically a QB you’d create in a lab or on Madden.

Ya I get Tua put up monster stats in college. But I mean playing on a team that had Josh Jacob’s, Najee Harris, and Brian Robinson in the RB room. And Jerry Judy, Henry Ruggs, Jaylen Waddle, and Devonta Smith in the WR room. Plus 6 OLineman that went on to play in the NFL.

You’d think you’d factor in that kind of elite talent surrounding him.

It surprised me too. I honestly thought dak looked pretty good without Ceedee lamb too, ngl. I don’t know if Dallas is better than I thought or the packers aren’t as good as people thought. Or maybe both.

Yea probably a little bit of both. Offensively the Cowboys are not nearly as bad as most thought they would be. I think that has mainly to do with how good the backup OL has been for Dallas, and how good Javonte Williams has been. They haven’t really missed a beat with Hoffman and Bass filling in for Beebe and Booker.

I said they'd be alright. I mean nobody expected them to go far in the playoffs anyway, but they got the players to not suck.

If the returner bobbled the ball, then IMO should be free for all at that point.

That's what I'm saying but refs called a false start earlier because the center looked up lmao

The Bengals suck, they don't need the refs against em too.

That’s what I was trying to explain to BJJ the other day. Don’t think I was doing a good job though. The Cowboys are not a good team right now. The offense is doing good but pretty much every expected (or wouldn’t be surprised) if they put up good offensive numbers in the regular season. I believe I even predicted that Dak would be in the MVP talk again. None of that matters though because we all know he’s going to turn back into a pumpkin the second the playoffs start.

The defense though is beyond terrible. The fact that “they looked better” after just getting 40 points hung on them says it all. The Cowboys are a bad team however as you said, they have just enough good players so that they don’t suck.

I get that Burrow is out, but damn the Broncos scored 28 points with relative ease. That means if Burrow is here, he would have to go supernova just to compete in this game. The Bengals spent way too much money on their receivers and no one else.

Jameis has more YOLO moments. If Chase/Higgins signed for all that money, Winston will definitely gun sling the hell of the ball to them.

Doesn't matter, Browning isn't the issue.

As long as Zac Taylor is calling plays, the offense won't look good.

Burrow only has himself to blame for that.

He publicly lobbied for them to keep Chase, Higgins, and Gesicki.

I’m with you. The team is horribly constructed and Taylor is not a good play caller. They basically built this team the opposite way - outside in which never works.

You guys paid money to Gesicki? He’s a replacement level TE. I’d rather have arroyo and pay him $2m a year he’s a way better player
