I saw a 1 hour 26 minute video posted on the Pacers website from a media day presser today with the media asking questions. I haven’t seen much yet but the first 24 minutes is Carlisle and then Benn Mathurin is next up.

I made this new topic to transition us into the regular season so we can post any happenings here. Today I also saw a picture posted of Tyrese and Furrrrphy saying Tyrese with his favorite player. They both were wearing Tyrese’s new shoes.

I just finished watching the media day presser video. Players not meeting with the media obviously none of the training camp player adds, recently drafted rookies Taelon Peter and Kam Jones, Quenton Jackson, and Ray J Dennis.

James Wiseman and Ben Sheppard were the only players I thought that should have been included in the presser that weren’t. The players that were mentioned as looking good over the summer were James Wiseman per Jay Huff, Jarace Walker and Johnny Furphy by more than one player.

On a different note Obi Toppin was asked about Mike Weinar no longer being available as Obi’s 1 on 1 coach and warmup assistant to find a child to throw an ally oop in warmups to Obi. Obi said that he didn’t like how Weinar leaving went down and I wonder if any of you have heard more of a reason than the Pacers and Weinar mutually parted ways ? Maybe Obi was bummed to lose a good coach or maybe he felt like something else wasn’t right in the coach leaving ? I couldn’t tell.
