Sacramento - Milwaukee - Phoenix

Post#1 » by Godaddycurse » Tue Sep 30, 2025 4:00 am

Sacramento trade: Derozan, Monk
Sacramento receive: Kuzma, Allen, Richards

Milwaukee trade: Smith, Kuzma
Milwaukee receive: Derozan

Phoenix trade: Allen, Richards
Phoenix receive: Monk, Smith

Why for Sacramento: Add more size and spacing
Why for Milwaukee: add a stop gap 2nd option
Why for Phoenix: add more playmaking (off the bench)

add second(s) and/or cash as needed.. think maybe phoenix is owed a little more

I want to udersdtand how it work for the teams

KINGS:
Schroeder_G.Allen/K.Ellis_Lavine_Murray_Sabonis
D.Carter_K.Ellis/G.Allen_Clifford_Kuzma_Richards
the trade can work like "addition by substraction (of talent)"
Monk+DDR have more talent of the players back, but that players can work better in the chemistry of Kings

BUCKS:
ColeAnthony_Trent_DDR_Giannis_Turner
KPJ_AJGreen_Prince_Portis_Sims/BolBol
they can sign BolBol for having a different solution at frount court

SUNS:
Green_Booker_DillonBrooks_O'Neale_M.Williams
Monk_Goodwin_R.Dunn_Ighodaro_Malauch
not bad, but don't solve the abundance in backcourt and the deficency in PF

DD is the exact opposite of the player the bucks should trade for.

No one should trade for DDR.

You need a secondary creator. DDR >> Kuzma on court

Kuzma is straight negative. No one wants him.

DDR is flawed but he can play.

I'm not the biggest fan of Monk, but the trade is OK for the Suns, and it is reasonable overall.

Not saying that DDR isn't not better then Kuzma...Just wrong type of player

You need someone to initiate the offense for the 15 mpg that giannis sits. DDR would look good in that role.

DDR is hated in this forum, I can see him fitting with the Bucks, even though his lack of range is not great, he is much better than Kuzma. Even in this trade, Bucks dump a bad contract for a 20ppg player, even if an inefficient one, he is worth so much more than what the Bucks give up

For the kings I think that the fit is terrible. I think they can land better fitting pieces than this with DDR and Monk here. Dennis, Ellis, Lavine, Carter will be fine for the guard rotation of the team

I want DeRozan gone more than the next, but not at the cost of eating Kuzmas 20+ million for next year. He's an awful player.

Monk for Allen is interesting and would be considered, but today Monk is our backup point, and we already have Keon/Nique to play Allens role. But if Monk needs a change and is upset at the team (doesn't seem like it based on recent comments), i wouldn't be mad at that.

The Demar-to-the-Bucks stuff is the weirdest RealGM group-think trade scenario that just won't die. It makes zero sense based on what they've done this offseason (re-tooled with younger, more defensively versatile players around Giannis), and there have been absolutely zero rumors regarding the Bucks being interested in him or even a player like him (a non 3PT spacer). "He's better than Kuzma" isn't a reason for anything. So are about 100+ other NBA players.

I think its even weirder that bucks fans prefer to keep kuzma even when it doesnt involve any picks

I think Kuzma for Monk might make some sense for the Kings and Bucks, but the Suns are better off rotating in Allen as a catch and shoot player than trading for Monk. The Kings are better off holding onto DDR and bringing him in as a sixth man.
