Wut? Felton kinda balled out for us. At least, at first.

You must’ve forgot when he choked against Indiana and he was the worst starting PG in the league by far in 2013-2014. That was absolute torture

That play sums up his tenure as a Knick. No bag at all while ball hogging for a brick.

We wouldn't have beaten Boston without him and Jason Ratt turning into a pumpkin had much more impact than Felton playing slightly below his average.

13-14 was rough.

We were beating Boston no matter what. They weren’t good.

Huh? Felton was our starting PG. Kidd was a bench role player who’s impact mainly came from being a leader, he was cooked as a player already. So I’m not sure how a 40 year old bench role player is getting more blame than our actual starter who was still in his prime. You’re forgetting Felton went 0/7 in game 6, literally the main reason why we lost the series.

Best thing about this quote is knowing barbs have to come to grips with him saying this bullcht while being an inefficient chucker who gave little effort on defense.

I’ll always appreciate RJ for doing his part and smacking down the Cavs during that playoffs series.

I won’t forgive Felton for wasting Melo’s last year of his prime

Because Kidd was still elite at managing offenses and he mailed it in so he could finalize the Nets offer.

Felton was our 2nd option in the Celtics series and managed decently and had some decent games in the Indiana series. He (and JR Smith) had no business being in that kind of role on a team with serious aspirations. It's like yelling at a kid who can't swim for drowning in the deep end.

How unfair to say that. He moved the ball the ball 490.7 miles - on the entire flight from NYC to Toronto, he never let it out of his hands once! /Chanelling_Buzz

Fat Felton was awful. Those seasons where he watched his weight and avoided Oreos, he was a much more effective PG.

I don’t think Kidd mailed it in.. he was just super old. Hard for me to blame him when he had a small role for us anyways.

We would’ve beaten Boston even without Felton imo. They didn’t have Rondo, Paul pierce and KG was super washed, and Ray Allen wasn’t even there anymore. But I guess kudos to Felton for playing well against them.

Felton averaged just 11 points and 4 assists against Indiana and then choked insanely in game 6. That’s unacceptable in my eyes.. but my hate for him really intensified in 2013-2014. Worst starting pg in the league by far.

11/5 were his career averages :dontknow: Right around those percentages too. That's who he was.

Our pieces around Melo just weren't that good. Especially since Stat broke.

As I said, he definitely stunk it up the next season and that was self inflicted.

That 2013-2014 season would’ve looked way different if that Lowry trade went down.

I'm still on Team Grimes. You'd have to slap me silly, though, because I'd never guess Grimes and DDV wouldn't be on this team less than a year later.
