Talking about Cleveland, Michale Kay was **** on them yeaterday because of their negative run differential.

This comes two days after he was mocking George Springer during the game for what he lipped ( "they are giving it to New York"). Kay said the ball down the third base line was also a good fair call.

Buck could be a homer this year, but Michale Kay is a total ****.

Has Randle stopped the doomerism and celebration around our inevitable collapse, now that we're in the playoffs? Or is it just transfered to how we'll inevitably lose in the ALDS?

Wondering if he's safe to unmute now, as he does actually have some other things of worth to say, that just got completely drowned out by his collapse schtick.

Celebration? Never. Doomerism? Perhaps, but one should never taunt the baseball gods.

We also would not have been stuck paying overpaid and overrated Santander 92.5 million over 5 years. Alonso would have made this team a legit World Series threat, with over 100 wins on the season also. Very unfortunate to lose out on him.

Michael Kay retiring May he take his run differential and passive aggressive accusations of our cheating with him.

How does Vladdy, Springer and Alonso split 1B and DH?

Springer played half his games at DH this year. We'd be forced to play Springer in the field everyday, does that end in an inevitable injury? Does a 35yr old wear down? Are you playing Vladdy at 3rd base alot?

I think there might be some unintended consequences of adding redundant positional players.

Vlad would have played more at 3rd base, and he said in Spring Training he would have done that if this team had acquired Alonso.

Rather would have done that then be stuck paying 92.5 million to Santander. This team is now looking at paying Berrios 24 million in 2027, Gimenez 23 million in 2027, along with Santander getting his money. Talk about money not well spent.

To be fair, baseball players can fluctuate in value year to year. Springer was our best bat this year, Story was Boston's, both these players were predicted to suck this year. Hopefully we get bounce back (and injury free) seasons from Santander, Berrios and Gimenez. Look how bad Vladdy has looked since coming back from his minor injury.

The entire AL Central needs to be relegated to AAA.

Would not want a 3 game series against any team with Tarik Skubal.

He now has 27 career post season innings, with no earned runs allowed.
Has to be the considered the best starting pitcher for a playoff game right now.

Skubal striking out the side in the 7th inning and hitting 101MPH on his pitches this late in the game??? Oooooookay..

I don't think I've ever seen a starting pitcher do that before.

So happy we are not in any of these 2 of 3 series. They just get pressurized so quick, especially after just one loss.

I think the Yanks are better, especially if Giolito is out of commission for longer than this series. So I'm cheering for the Red Sox.

Crochet is an ace, but after that it could be Bello, ??? and pray it gets to Chapman.

Just going from vibes and what I've seen this season, the Yankees seem more dangerous. They're more mistake prone, but when they're locked in I feel like they'd be tougher to beat. The Sox are more steady but feel like they're less likely to be unbeatable if they get hot
