I hope he can start to get more comfortable as the season progresses and his college experience kicks in, but it definitely looks like an area to scout. I wouldn't mind them drafting a bunch of O-Line again this spring. We need some big hosses that you can plug and play. Give me a Tate Ratledge type.

1st two weeks the O-Line was pretty good against some good units. Yeah the Browns lit them up but that's a pretty strong statement based on one bad week versus the other two weeks especially considering how good that Browns unit has been so far this season

I thought Jenkins would hit the ground running as a Center from week one but reality is he hasn't played that position in a while except spot starts. Maybe we just need to be patient as he figures things out week in week out.

The operation on the road was horrendous, and it started with Elgton. Most of the time when they went into silent count, he was snapping the ball looking down and by the time he looked up the DT was already past him. I'll give the line a mulligan because it's the first road game with multiple starters out, but they need to get things cleaned up. The penalties alone will sink the team.
That's fair. My point though was that saying "they look worse so far this season" is a strange statement when 2 out of the 3 weeks they've looked pretty damn good and the 1 they haven't was against a line that's 3 for 3 on making their opponents lines look bad

He kinda did hit the ground running at Center the 1st two weeks.

The Browns have one of if not the best fronts in the league. Not saying the oline couldn't of played better but it doesn't necessarily have to get deeper then they just had a bad day against an elite defensive front when we have two other weeks to judge by

Cowboys, Denver, Pittsburgh, Philly, ravens. I'll be happy with 3-2 as a worst case scenario with those teams. Go 4-2 within the division. Beat everyone else, no more losing games you should win. End 12-5.

If that's what I actually said :D

"but we somehow look worse with Elgton at center right now."

Only as good as your last performance. You can absolutely take pride in the fact that they kicked butt the first two weeks, but it's also weeks 1 & 2. If I had to guess, those defenses we faced early on will only get better (such as Detroit). If we're having issues with the Browns, it just makes me cautious when we get into difficult matchups as the season goes on, especially within the division.

lol come on that's some word games right there. But ok fair. I disagree with your only as good as your last performance stance since the season is more then just the last game but if that's you stance OK

However.......

If we're having issues with the Browns???? I'd say its good that we most likely won't see a defensive front that good again all season. I think you're severely underrating just how good that defense, and defensive front, actually is

Word games when you're the one misquoting me lol. Got it.

And I think the Lions front with Hutch is every bit as dangerous the more he gets healthy. Vikings defense isn't a cake walk either.

Yes because heaven forbid when you said "right now" I didnt grasp that you were completely discounting the previous two weeks of the season and you only go off the current week

Man the Bears and Vikings "right now" are much better teams than GB

Only the last game counts so must be true

Some positivity to spread.

Through 4 weeks, Love's numbers extrapolated to a full season are MVP level, which is encouraging as hell given he's been a slow starter early in his career.

Also, TK's #'s across a full season are close to TE1.

Obviously very early but nice to think about nonetheless

I watched back some of the Cowboy's game and Rasheed Walker continues to stick out like a sore thumb. He's playing himself out of some FA money. Was hoping we wouldn't have to worry about that side.

They probably let him play out the year, but if he keeps dragging ass, I wouldn't be opposed to jump starting Morgan on playing his natural spot a bit early, since he likely was going to slot in there next year.
