I knew he never was taking the QO, all those Kings fans that said they were sure he was taking the QO look silly now. We might do a deal with the Kings later but we were never doing that deal losing Hield or Moody, but many Kings fans couldn't accept it.

Well, a sign and then trade several months later may qualify. We can keep it going until the deadline. Oh, the joy!

Oops, yes you're right: "In cases where a player re-signs with a team via Early or Full Bird Rights at a raise greater than 120 percent of their previous salary, the trade restriction is in place until January 15."

They were so cocky, like they were the ones in the driver's seat.

What if they can't trade his salary slot this season?
Try to trade him in the next offseason, next summer?

Yup, they acted like we were being given a gift by their crappy deal and that we were delusional that JK was going to do anything except the QO.
In the end, Dunleavy nailed it and got the right deal. No TO into a PO, and the 1+1 we wanted all along.

Yup we’ll probably have to endure this another 2 years because there will be no return that lacob likes.

Oh a cap hit of only 22.5M this year. I thought it was going to be more. Looks like we can sign Seth nov 15th but we’d be hard capped and trading would be incredibly difficult.
Just great.

based on my limited understanding, if they cant trade this season, then they have to pick up the team option or he becomes unrestricted free agent. If they cant trade him this season because he plays bad, i dont see a reason to pick up the team option because he will be even harder to trade next season

Good deal for the dubs.
Seth will sign on November 15th.
Kuminga will be traded on January 15th. I mentioned the only 3 available wings who check all our boxes months ago.
Dillon Brooks
Kcp
Wiggs

i like KCP he is much easier to integrate than wiggins - who has only 1 season over 115 Ortg where KCP has 4.

Where are you getting that number? A 2/48.5 starts at $23.3M.
