Everything I am seeing suggests that support for the
GOP has crashed big time. The obvious question is
what can they do to continue their hold on power.

Which is why they summoned generals as a loyalty test. And are occupying American cities talking about the “enemy within”. And shutting down the government instead of negotiating. And planning to use the shut down period to slice and dice programs. So when the votes are clearly against him he can claim otherwise. In the backlash afterwards he can simply hold on to power and ignore the law the same way he’s been doing with court orders that go against him. Everyone on that side of the aisle knows they are supporting illegal actions, that there will be prosecutions if the tide turns so the only recourse is to never allow that to happen. Again, he already tried to hold power with a mob, now he plans to do so with the full force of the US military.

Maybe the way Trump destroys democracy is by forcing the military to topple him and then hang onto power, impose martial law and cancel elections. I could see them selling a military dictatorship to the public, free from Trump, Vance, Hegseth, RFK, Greene, etc. A center-right coalition that isn’t necessarily happy except their free of Trump. And maybe to pacify bitter MAGA loudmouths, they go ahead and carve Trump‘s head into Mount Rushmore anyway, around the backside or something.

Laura Loomer was all over X fuming about Christianity being under attack, that Muslims are taking over Michigan and won't do anything about it.

The shooter turns out to be a white, USMC veteran who had US flags in his truck. His trailer had Trump/Vance signs on the lawn. It doesn't take a genius to deduce this was done in retaliation for Tyler Robinson, raised a Mormon, having killed Charlie Kirk, who claimed to be a Christian.

The 40-year-old white male USMC veteran was, in fact, a "Christian" who viewed the Mormon church as the "antichrist."

Laura Loomer was right about an attack. However, a Christian 100% Trump supporter launched his attack specifically because he'd been told by Loomer and others that Christianity is under attack.

The worst part was in her reckless false accusations, Loomer said Muslims had overrun the entire state of Michigan (a day after one election in the city of Dearborn); and they'd do nothing about the (baseless) attack on Christians.

The idiots still have the reverberations of her lies ringing in their stupid ears and settled in their shallow, racist minds. The fear mongering against Muslims and ignoring the redneck murderous right gets old.

Trump and these people act like they are demonic.
