Granted it’s first game of preseason and it was overseas but as a team we looked awful

If we could get a second rounder or two for Dadiet, I'd take it fast. I don't get the hype other than his age. Dude looked shaky even in the G-league last season.

French players all have that Frank Factor. He's tall. Rangy. Can play a little defense.

I think he's worth the flyer for the profile and tools (hell, I took the flyer in BAF) but he very easily might not amount to anything.

Ha, I was thinking of Wemby too. He's great, obviously, but same idea. There was never really a question with him aside from health.

Even Coulibaly has been a little disappointing.

I think we looked fine. I thought the 1st qtr was a bit choppy. Deuce came in a gave us good energy and we finished the half nicely.

That 2nd unit had some promising moments especially when we mix and matched a starter or two with the bench.

Not bad for the first time out.

Pacome doesn’t play shook like Frank. He isn’t afraid to shoot or look to score but he just isn’t good at it lol

I genuinely don't know how we're supposed to play this free flowing offense with Mitch on the floor.

The players largely abandoned it after the first 5-6 mins. It came back a bit when we went 5 out.

Couple thoughts that I hope won’t look silly by around Christmas:

We’re so much deeper than last years team. This team actually has like 12 regular season players. It’s kinda crazy how much better things are when shamets you’re 11th man instead of you’re 8th.

Thought the offense looked a lot better when only one big was out there. Even with yabu at the 5 in the third and I don’t think he had a particularly good game.

A little worried Yabu might just be a small ball 5 that can’t play the 4. hukporti moved so much better than him on the floor and you don’t want him playing the 4.

Deuce either looks like he made a leap or he came into this season in incredible shape. He was ready to rock n roll.

Some good moments from Mikal. Jumper looks a little less busted. Pumped to see him attempting lay ups. Just not super excited to watch him try to guard the point of attack again. He just doesn’t navigate screens as well as he used too.

Really glad basketball is back and can’t wait till Saturday.

What did you think about Matthews? He looks really solid to the point a decision has to be made regarding who’s gonna make the team/get traded

We probably wont be able to play it...probably will be Brunson P&R with mitch and KAT then more becomes a floor spacer but we will have the same issue as last year where KAT will go minutes without touching the ball.

Now that doesn't mean Mitch doesn't have massive value on this team. He absolutely dominates the boards and gives us much needed rim protection. But I think its more important to get the offense flowing early.

I think the minute we went to KAT at the 5 he took a trail 3...we had better floor balance. Its just the way we have to play if Brown wants a free flowing offense. It was basically Brunson and Mikal doing all the dribbling up top which got us stagnant.

There's also a 0% chance you're going to create open C&S opportunites for Brunson with that lineup. There is no other penetrator and the paint will always have 2 bodies on the ball handler.
