Bro i had no idea we played today. How did the offensive system look? I see that Mitch and Karl started?

Looked like a Thibs team that never practiced together, as far as the starters.

No OG, sprained his hand, riding a camel apparently.

Hart hurt his back during the game but everyone hates Hart now so no worries there.

Dadiet started and looks like he should come off the bench. In China.

Clarkson looks like a shot maker inside and a shot clanker from 3

Deuce stood out among almost everyone.

Mitch grabbed a lot of rebounds and gave up as many interior cuts/dunks.

Brunson was either fine or dominated the ball and sucked, depending on your agenda.

KAT and Mitch looks clunky, but hey.

Brogdon checked in late and the lineup with him, Huk, Matthews, Shamet and somebody looked good, really good ball movement, Matthews shot is pure. However, it was against Philly's 4th string. Still, you can see the legit PG/all around play that Brogdon brings.

Kolek scored on a few floaters but we don't care because Shamet and Matthews need to make the team.

Diawara is raw but you can see the potential. Still several years away. He's tall as f*ck. Like, as tall as Huk. But a wing.

McCullars is ass. In 3 years, he has a chance to be bootleg Shamet.

If we could get a second rounder or two for Dadiet, I'd take it fast. I don't get the hype other than his age. Dude looked shaky even in the G-league last season.

French players all have that Frank Factor. He's tall. Rangy. Can play a little defense.

I think he's worth the flyer for the profile and tools (hell, I took the flyer in BAF) but he very easily might not amount to anything.

The funny thing about Frank Factor...it's kinda suitable for Diawara too. Big for his position, can play some defense, and has a skillset that could stretch and make him a spacer...but I see the vision.

With Robinson even if he’s a starter he can’t really finish games. He is a big liability down the stretch of games. Hes also someone that gives valuable energy in short spurts but the longer he’s on the floor the less effective he is. Not to mention how unreliable he is being injury prone.

Plus you don’t really maximize KAT or the others offensively with Robinson on the floor. The only real value he provides is some of that defensive disruption in stretches.

That's absolutely true. The operations path to get out of the doldrums is very different from what we need to be doing now. It would suck to lose a good prospect but suck more to not maximize this group.

also just trying to add things up. I don't see how Brogdon cracks the rotation if you have Deuce and Clarkson off the bench. Not sure where those minutes are coming from. And then Hart is off the bench too. So you have a bunch of small guys off the bench along with Yabu. It’s not great balance.

Brogdon looked heavy and probably needs time to work into better game shape. 5-10 spot mins seems enough for him for a while, no need to worry about finding him a meaningful rotation spot.

The CBA also pretty much requires anyone making more than a $1mm or 2 develop into a meaningful contributor. Dadiet feels like he’s such a long way from being a contributor, I’m not sure any team has room for a guy like that. I look at a guy like Ousmane Dieng on OKC, who has shown more than Dadiet and probably will have to hit free agency because he makes too much money despite being on a rookie contract. It’s a tough numbers game.
