Was discussing this with a coworker and he thinks Puka Nucua goes in the top 10 if you redrafted the 2023 draft. Even seen ESPN had him as high as 4th to Indy. I get he's very good but IMHO without Stafford Puka definitely isn't the same player we know today

i can't name 10 players better than Puka in that class, might not even be able to name 5 (it was a bad class)

I don’t get why the Niners paid Purdy. Don’t get me wrong, I think he’s better than Big Mac.

But I feel like when you have one of these QB/Offensive gurus that can really maximize the QB spot. You’re basically gifting yourself 30-40 million dollars worth of cap space. You basically don’t have to pay anything more than 20-30 mil on a QB and still get high level QB play.

Just keep rolling with smart vets. Or you can make a move for an already proven elite QB (like the Rams did with Stafford).

But ya if I have one of those coaches, I’m never paying a massive contract for a QB, unless he’s proven to be one of those freak talents
