LA will never be a NFL city. Let alone a city for 2 teams. Chargers need to go back to San Diego where they belong

lol even Al Michael and Kirk are making fun of it

I mean anytime they show the crowd. It looks a good 70% red compared to blue.

Shanahan might be the best coach in the league right now. As much as I love KOC and think he’s one of the best offensive minds.

I think Shanahan is on his own tier at the moment. This is a pretty good Rams team and basically every star for SF except for CMC isn’t playing. And you got Big Mac limping his way to 300+ yards and a win.

Also Saleh may suck as a HC. But the dude is as elite as it gets as a DC

Kyle tried his best to lose it for us tonight

Robert Saleh is putting together magic with half the defense being rookies

I feel like it’s always easier to pick apart play calling when it’s your team. Hell half of Vikings fans want KOC to give up play calling all together haha.

Short week, ridiculously beat up. I thought Shanahan called a great game

It worked out but I still thought it was pretty dumb to play for OT. Pick up one first down & the game is basically over.

Shanahan seems to get the best of McVay for whatever reason. The Rams had a fairly healthy squad.

Banged up Mac Jones with a beat up offensive line starting on your own 1 yard line. I think most coaches would go the route that Shanahan did with that call.

That Purdy contract looking more horrendous by the day, seeing how Jones is performing in the Shanahan system.

But I feel like when you have one of these QB/Offensive gurus that can really maximize the QB spot. You’re basically gifting yourself 30-40 million dollars worth of cap space. You basically don’t have to pay anything more than 20-30 mil on a QB and still get high level QB play.

Just keep rolling with smart vets. Or you can make a move for an already proven elite QB (like the Rams did with Stafford).

But ya if I have one of those coaches, I’m never paying a massive contract for a QB, unless he’s proven to be one of those freak talents

A very QB friendly scheme. It's why I argued for them not to extend him. He was also prone to turnovers in college & is starting to revert back to those old habits.

Spoiler:
Read on Twitter

It's not friendly to QB's health, that's for sure. Shanahan's philosophy that he can coach past the OL being bargain basement has led to a lot of QB injuries over the years.

He would be the best OC in the NFL, but he's lacking some key aspects of a HC.

Well that qb guru is the one that gave Purdy the contract. Apparently he sees something in Purdy he doesnt see in other quarterbacks. I think alot to do with Purdy's composure at the end of the games and playoff games.

Also I wouldnt put too much stock in Mac Jones' performance, it doesnt last long. Every back up qb Shanahan resurrected except for Purdy eventually gets figured out, Nick Mullens, CJ Beathard, Blaine Gabbert etc.

So Niners have the best OC and DC in the league, no wonder they beat a contender with a glorified college team. Just need someone to make decisions at the end of games.

Shanahan also needs to reconsider his practice methods or find a different physio or something. Half of his Niners years has been derailed by injuries, every other year same story. It is not just single position either, from QB to punter everyone gets injured.

He's got to be on a short leash. A missed PAT, FG and that kick to start OT. Not to mention two blocked FG in Philly. He's cost them two games IMHO
