People loved 2k11 at a time, but even with sliders way up it was incredibly hard to draw any foul, i hated that. Thats the only game i played out of that list.

I went with Street. 2k1 was insane for it's time though, though i did think it got better in 2k2 and 2k3.

2k1 has the highest critic rating of any basketball video game on metacritic for what its worth. Their ratings go back over 25 years.

2k11 pretty much put NBA Live out of business though. That to me is the best NBA 2k game ever.

NBA Street Vol 2 was insanely good. Spent lots of hours on that game.

Went with NBA Jam TE, but I did think NBA Hang Time really added nicely to that style

Nba street vol 2 had everything in a choke hold. Everyone I knew was playing that game even if they didn't like basketball or sports.

NBA Live 95 basically allowed any center to just dribble it full court and dunk it. Had a cool golf Easter egg.

I remember playing some generic unlicensed basketball game on Sega Genesis, and loving it as a kid. the big feature was that you could choose your uni colors from like 4 variants. I saw it on youtube not too long ago, tried to find it now, but I cant do it now. I know to most these games is a joke from ancient times, but to people like me, it was a reality.

All these sports games till this day have had game breaking exploits. Thats why I liked FIFA the most out of modern games, I haven't played in a while, but I do nor remember it having exploits at this point, where with NBA 2k, I still play that terrible 2k24 version, but I basically need to to play with gentements rules against the CPU, because in reality, size trumps everything in that game, any stiff will be lock down defender for you as long as he is long, if I wanted to just win I would just play 5 seven footers, thats just **** reality of those games.

Are there any video game consoles that don't make a fan sound (as in, the air sound that comes from it)?
I'll buy a console but only if its got no fan sound coming out of it.
I was hoping ps2 has no fan sound, because that has nba2k12 at least, so I'd buy that.
But turns out ps2 has a fan sound according to google, so are there any consoles that don't?

BLCB was very much licensed for SNES. And was super fun in a non-reality way:

I also enjoyed hang time more. Recently I found put hang time was just the continuation of nba jam. The same guys made it, the name change had something to do with licensing of the name nba jam which was the name of the all star weekends nba jam sessions. The league asked them not to use the name and they switched it to hang time.
