Kickoffs are inconsistent. Short most of the time it seems. Not much height either but maybe that’s deliberate with the weird kickoff rules now.
I'm not sure height matters much anymore since no one can move until the ball is fielded. The way the Rams use that knuckleball kick to make it bounce and become hard to handle may be the best way to proceed. Not sure why our brilliant special teams coach hasn't taught Pineiro how to use this yet; maybe he thinks our special teams coverage unit is so elite that it isn't needed.
