Anyone know if I can watch it without league pass?

I'm watching Lakers vs Suns preseason replay on LeaguePass. Mychal Thompson one of the broadcasters. Believe it or not I remember him playing for the Gophers. #1 all time scorer in Gophers history 1992 points. 2nd behind Jordan Murphy in rebounds.
Lakers delusional broadcast team declared Ayton will be a top 4 or 5 Center in the NBA. Not sure if it was Mychal or the other guy.

I am cheap.

I'm cheap too, but it's such a value. I'm in the Dominican Republic now and the price is just over $80 in US money. Last year IIRC it cost me $100. Being cheap is fine, but at about $8 per month you're taking cheap to an extreme.

I think most future Wolves game would blackout on league pass if you live in Minnesota. I think when it's on FDN, league pass doesn't have rights to broadcast it in the region. Probably worth it where you are but having multiple subscriptions in Minnesota just to watch a few preseason games does not have much value. I might just go to the game on Tuesday instead, to be honest. It's like 10$.

Will be fun to see if the Lakers hype train gets derailed again but I do think Ayton will have a big impact. Maybe not top 5 but he's an upgrade over the weak players they had at center before.

I had forgot League Pass went from YouTubeTV to Amazon. It’s worth it for me being out of market. Only games I can’t see are when they play Suns. What are games on now in the Twin Cities? I’ll be out there later and think Wolves have a few games during that time.

Last year I lived in Arizona. What does it mean gone to Amazon. Is league pass part of Amazon? Do Amazon Prime members get league pass for free?

Its now an Amazon channel that you can subscribe to.

It is not included with Amazon Prime.

Still on FDSN here in MN...worth noting too that you can bundle FDSN in as an Amazon add-on as well. I did this last year and it worked decently well as opposed to the FDSN standalone. Harder to get to archived games this way, but I thought the live experience was far superior within the Amazon app.

I wouldn’t buy game pass because I live in market and get most games on FDSN. But this particular game is not on FDSN and according to NBA.com is only on league pass. I was hoping this was incorrect or maybe league pass was free this week, but I am not enthusiastic based on the boards response to my question.

One roundabout solution: The Nuggets site says it's supposed to be on Altitude Sports out of Denver, which looks like it has a free trial available.

EDIT: Nevermind, I can't get it to work, looks like it's pie for me tonight.

If you live in the Wolves market and will get blacked out I suppose League Pass is only worth it if you enjoy watching other teams.

Kinda interesting to keep Mike Conley, Anthony Edwards, and Julius Randle out, but still play Rudy Gobert.

Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
