Should be the best team since the chip.

Love Brook, but it'll definitely be fun to see them play with a skilled, mobile 5. I mean, look how good Sims was in his minutes.

Possible Bobby's tweet was a misplaced search for some new hats.

New Era in that almost no one is left from the championship team.

Also, another Mega Basket 2nd round pick was also stashed for a year after he was drafted. Have you heard of Nikola Jokic?

Please tell me this is a poor attempt at humor?

After being stashed a year, Jokic averaged 8 ppg in Summer League.

Szymon Szewczyk was about 6 months older than Bogo when drafted in the second round. He was stashed and never came back. Bogo is probably closer to him than Jokic. Interestingly 10 years later Szymon's draft rights were traded as part of the deal that brought Ridnour here.

Bogo should’ve played with the Herd. Don’t understand the advantage of “stashing” in Europe.

I don’t have a good feeling about Giannis’ Covid. Covid completely drains the body; I remember that Bledsoe had a very poor playoff season after recovering from Covid; he was traded right after that if I remember rightly.

I expect Giannis to be below par for quite sometime which is not a good thing for the Bucks.

Still 3 weeks until the season starts. It's not nearly as bad as when Bledsoe had it.

Terrible comparison. Markovic was better as a 19 year old than Szewczyk was at any point in his career.

Markovic is like Jovic, but with toughness.

I hope you’re right he definitely needs to put some weight on and get stronger. But he is very young I hope we have someone over there working with him.

You say Jovic but before said Jokic. I think comparing Bogo with the 3 time MVP is a worse comparison ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I point out Jokic because Wonka claimed no good players are ever stashed, which is completely false. They both also averaged 8 ppg in their 1st Summer League. Their games and builds are not similar, but both needed to add strength as youngsters.

Markovic and Jovic have similar play styles and builds, but Markovic isn't soft like Jovic.

No one was compared to the 3 time MVP, and Jokic had 0 MVPs while he was playing for Mega Basket after being drafted.

He’ll fill out and get stronger. I bet he’s on the team next season.

Different virus, different immunities 5 years out. Just no comparison. Giannis has had Covid before, so there should be no worries about an out of the ordinary recovery.

The advantage in this case is that you can only have 18 guys under contract and Marky Mark is with a senior European club whose entire business model / incentive structure is based around player development.

The Herd would have also been a good spot for him with its own advantages.
