This is one of the most euphoric baseball games ever for a Blue Jays fan.

Complete obliteration of the Yankees in a big playoff game with your rookie star pitcher going off and your franchise player hitting a grand slam.

He'd have to throw 120+ pitches which there is no way they'll let him do.

Yankees fan twitter was pretty spectacular after game 1 and their rationalizing that it didn't matter.
Let's see what they are up to now?

Is the first word "no"?

Anyway, he's already got 76 pitches. He's gotta learn to pitch to SOME contract.

DON'T SAY IT

(but yes, he's gonna need a couple quick innings)

Let Yesavage pitch to one or two batters in the sixth inning, and come out of the game to a massive cheer.

I think that would be the best move.

You don't kill an arm in an aim for that "thing".
This isn't about that "thing", but advancing and being able to perform later.

Let him face a batter or two and get a big cheer off the field. That in itself is a moment,

It’s incredible to say, but his best days are still ahead of him.
(this one was pretty good)

I said early on that this has the same energy of Morrow’s 17-strikeout, near no-hitter in 2010...just with the stakes being significantly higher lol. He probably won’t get the opportunity to pitch as deep into the game, but this is arguably one of the best pitching performances we’ve seen from a Jays pitcher in the past 15 years. Add on the fact that our batters are completely obliterating everything they see and this is shaping up to be one of the best things I’ve ever watched.
