Not even possible to have a better post season debut than that. 11k's in 5.1 innings. No hits, only a single walk in the first inning. Might have struck out even more if the Jays bats hadn't been so hot and he sat for so long after the fourth.

He's going to be the best Blue Jays pitcher of all time if he stays healthy. Right now he's at least Juan Guzman 2.0.

He's got a HOF career path at only 22 years old!

We had both Roy Halladay and Dave Stieb. Two incredible pitchers. I don't think it's likely almost any pitcher is going to be as good as Roy Halladay, let alone one that has pitched 20 innings in the bigs.

He's had four starts, and he's been amazing, but lets pump our brakes here. The ghosts of Alek Manoah and Aaron Sanchez (who both got Cy Young votes in their second seasons) are going to get you if you don't let up.

Also had Roger Clemens win 2 Cy Youngs while he was here.

The probability of him being better than Halladay is very very low. Halladay is one of the all time great pitchers. I'm excited about Trey too but let's see how the league adjusts to him after he's had more starts. That's the real test.

Roger was great while he was here but I think of him more of a mercenary. He was here and gone very quickly.

All the talk about Yesavage today, was also said about Manoah

and even said about Aaron Sanchez and Noah Syndergaard

to say Yesavage will the greatest pitcher Blue Jay produced (over Doc) after 4 big league starts is absurd

We're all excited about him.

Don't need to overhype him and call him a HOF'er after 4 starts though. That's just an unrealistic expectation right now and it will lead to disappointment.
