Looking like a (possible) Khakis decision to pull Yesavage, and even with a day off tomorrow.Barker will be mentioning this.

Is Berrios or Scherzer on the roster? I don’t think we should use Hoff for the last inning

Jay's didn't have a lot of success in Yankee stadium. They did eek out a win in each of the 3 game series. Maybe they can steal game with Schneider brilliant coaching moves

It's always hard to determine if a guy stinks or not based on pitching in a blowout game.

We do know from game 1 that Varland and Dominquez pitched well in close games. None of our higher leverage guys have struggled yet in this series which is a good thing.

I think some (including me) wanted to see Fisher in more leverage situations, but the fact that he came in after Bruihl probably indicates where the staff slots him in.

Though some of these lower leverage guys will need to contribute to get out in the first 5 innings of game 4.

You see it all the time when otherwise OK relievers sometimes get complacent in a blowout game and the opponent is desperate to not get embarrassed. They score a few runs and suddenly get some momentum and the leading team starts to sweat.

I understand what Schneider was trying to do and hindsight is 20/20 but if you keep Yesavage in (who was still hungry) and then finish off the yankees with a combination of Little/Fisher where the Yankees get maybe 4 or 5 hits instead of 10, then they're way more discouraged going into game three.

It can't be overstated the psychological impact of not being able to make proper contact on the ball in a playoff series. In that situation you're more likely to sweep and then you can rest guys until the next round.

Our (debatably) best starters were these 2 games at home so we'll see how it goes on the road. Definitely can't get confident that we'll eke out a win. Hopefully they can get it done.

We dominated game 1 in September 7-1. Let’s end it.

Yankees are a team you wanna bludgeon, and keep them down, demoralizing them further by getting Judge then Bellinger would have been fun to watch, and messed them up even further..just saying, and it shouldn,t matter going forward in this series.I,d bet that quite a few managers would have pitched him even longer.Schneider probably gets it..bad move what they did.Schneider still could have used Yesavage later in the series if he keeps him in just one more inning, instead of managing it assuming he will have to use him.
