Is this team drafted players that are still on that specific team, or is this team drafted players on any active roster ??? I'd think the later would be more interesting.

There are a lot of ways you can read this. At the left side, you have powerhouses like the Bills, Ravens and Chiefs. But on the right side, you also have three of the 4 best teams in the NFC last year, the Vikings, Lions and Commanders.

My point is that I'm pretty sure Tenn would like having K Byard, D Henry, AJ Brown and Jack Conklin on their current roster, assuming money wasn't an issue.

Raiders got thrashed by IND, who may actually be really good. I wonder how much longer Geno Smith will still have a job. Threw two more picks today v. 0 TD's.

Impressive job by WAS going into LAC and winning pretty handily.

The Jets fall to 0-5, while Fields throws for almost 300 yards but is sacked 5 times. A lot of those yards came in garbage time though.

That call to go for 2 on their last TD drive was brilliant.

Chargers failing to score in the second half was also something.

Not quite the same quality of teams, but Titans came back from 21-6 in the 4thQ at Ari. Took Ari having a couple of the most boneheaded plays you'll see all year (no exaggeration) for Tenn to do it but give the 0-4 Titans credit for sticking to it on the road.

Yes that was quite a finish. Another guy who couldn't be bothered to hang onto the ball until after he was into the end zone. I've never seen a play like the one where there was an INT, then a fumble, then a TD all on the same play.

They did. CJ Stroud had a big game as well v. BAL, which seems to give up 40 points just about every week.

Bizarre situation with Mark Sanchez- he's now being charged with a felony assault. Apparently there was an argument over a parking space, and the driver, a 69 year old was pretty badly beaten by Sanchez and stabbed him in self defense. Video cameras seem to support the driver's version of events.

He also tried to mace him before stabbing him.

to be fair, garbage time for the jets usually starts halfway through the first quarter

ha ha

They might end up with the first pick in the draft. Top 3 for sure. The last mock I saw had 4 QB's in the top 8, so plenty of QB's to chose from.

Many formerly Bears fans will be exited for another chance to finally be able trade down and get their haul!

It’s also a sample size of 1 year. Didn’t the Rams and Bucs win a superbowl with a bunch of free agents?

If you get The Athletic ($$) real good article from D Wiederer on Tyrique Stevenson.
- Stevenson apparently didn't know he was the one who deflected the ball up in the Hail Mary, until he saw the film
- TS in the locker room after the Was game, called his middle school wresting coach (Rudy Trevino, mentor and confidant) who gave TS an earful; "...you're a teach tape now. For the rest of your life..."
- TS never met his father and his step dad left when he was in middle school. So TS had to be the man in the house of five women (mom + four sisters) at a young age.
- dropped 13 lbs in a 24hr period to make a wrestling class weight in 8th grade (article details 24 hr workout with Trevino)
- was over confident/mouthy a couple of times in high school and at U Miami and got burned on big plays
- had a son born in April, fatherhood has changed his outlook, spotlight now on his son (Poles, Trevino and Byard all note TS maturity change)
- this spring equipt manager T Medlin asked TS if he'd forgiven himself yet for the Hail Mary fiasco [this question apparently caused TS to look within himself in greater depth]
TGibson (1/28/17); "..."a 4 or 5 on a scale of 1 to 10 for drama"...What's the worst? "...yelling matches with Thibs, everybody is just going crazy and I'm just sitting there...like, 'Don't call my name please..."

Thanks for posting that. I've always rooted for Tyrique, mainly because he get so much hate, and I like rooting for the underdog. I hope he turns things around and reaches his potential. Like so many athletes, he's overcome a lot to get to where he is. It reminds me of Bobby Portis' story- who had to defend his mom as a 13 year old against an abusive boyfriend and grew up dirt poor.
