One of the most idiotic decision in the post-season I have ever witnessed in my years of watching baseball. Why did the Phillies give up an out with a runner in scoring position on Second Base, by trying to bunt over a slow runner to third with Zero Outs? Of course he got out at Third.

This is after the Phillies got three hits and cut the lead to 4-3. That is a fireable offense. I would terminate Thomson on the spot if I was the Phillies owner. Cost them the series with that moronic decision by telling a player who is a contact hitter to sacrifice an out, after the Phillies got three hits and scored two runs in the 9th.

Why didn't they use a pinch runner for castellanos and why the hell are they bunting...

Teo may be a clutch playoff performer but this is why we got rid of him

Nah, even with that dropped flyball and this lack of hustle, his clutch homers are worth having at his salary. That trade for a fungible bullpen piece was fireable - and it signaled the FO's pivot to defense

Yeah definitely a fireable offense. Pivot to defense has also been a disaster. If only we could win the division and finish with the best record in the AL. Just trying to figure out a way to do that.

Teoscar was injured and out with a Groin Strain a few months ago. He could be protecting not getting injured again by not overexerting himself. Regardless, I would have taken him this past off-season on a 3 year deal, over paying 92.5 million to an overrated Santander for the next 5 years.

This is playoff baseball though. If you can’t try hard in an important playoff game then that raises some huge red flags. That kind of stuff sends the wrong message to the team as well.

Teoscar isn’t on a great deal too. Both aren’t that appealing at their current production and contract though. That’s for sure.

It's a 0-0 game in the playoffs, and he's guaranteed for the next two years. This is not the time to avoid overexerting yourself.
