Thought for sure this was the 4th quarter.

Ajax has been very good tonight. Flying around on defense, under control on offense. Not trying to do too much on either end.

I'd still keep him over Livingston, Smith, Coffey. That energy and athleticism can be useful still at times. The other guys dont bring anything.

He is Patty C replacement on a better deal. He's a veteran voice in the locker room that will play defense and shoot when the team is desperate.

could very well be. we have a lot of redundancy on the roster right now but i'm not sure how many Gary Harrises we have.

I am not keeping him over Livingston who is younger and who has been very good tonite putting the ball in the basket

I’d legit rather have Pete Nance than Kyle Kuzma

I'm not seeing a need for veteran leadership, we have plenty of it.

We could, however, really use 1 more legit player.

leadership is only one dimension. he's a good defender which is still going to be valuable to us.

Good win, liked what I saw out of most of the main guys. Solid stuff from Rollins and KPJ. Good debut for Myles. Kuzma should be locked in a small box and ejected into deep space. Some fun stuff by Livingston and Nance as well.

Didn’t watch a second so-

Great showing from the new guys and I can’t wait to see them next to Giannis. Kuzma sucks though.

Or

Preseason so can’t take much from this one without Giannis. Kuzma sucks though.

the only thing i was really hyper focused on was KPJ. he came out pretty tentative but that's not unlike his approach to the end of last season where he looked to get teammates involved early. i dont mind the long twos if he is making them but i'd much rather see him looking for 3s. i dont think that's a revolutionary idea. judging by Doc's comments in the past few weeks, I trust what he's likely telling KPJ so now i'm just waiting to see it all come together. very good start all things considered and i can't wait to see him play with Giannis.

I liked most things I saw. A few things I didn't like was Cole's defense and Portis offense. Portis is a black hole in the post and is losing his defensive skills as he gets older. The problem with Portis is that if you needed to trade him it would be hard to find an upgrade in his price range. I think Smith was the guy they were betting on but he looks lost. I realize that this is the 1st game of the preseason and players need time to find their touch but I want to see better decision making from Portis.

After re-watching some of the game back, this was the first thing I thought of lol. If Nance is hitting that 3 at a regular clip, he should see the floor more.

Nance is long but looks lost on D somehow... maybe a better shooting Portis?

Portis and Kuzma dont fit what we are doing.

But right now we need Portis scoring with Giannis off

Finally watched the 2nd half of last night's Bucks game

I remain on the Chris Livingston train, he deserves a chance with real players

Gary Harris & Tyler Smith were real bad

Amir Coffey was invisible, also notable he didn't get run with any real players

Pete Nance is playable in an emergency
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

Bobby Portis averaged more ppg and rpg in less mpg in the NBA last year than Nance did in the G League.

Nance can play a little, but these 2 don't compare.

Livingston continued his scoring on bully ball drives that he debuted in Summer League. Good to see.
