All the things I’m seeing from Barnes and dick are al the things I’ve been bringing up for years… I honestly don’t understand how ppl can never admit these things

Im going to give it more than 1/2 a preseason game before I want to trade/fire everyone.

Barnes has been here for 4 years and this is gradey a 3rs season… just repeating the same excuses year after year

but the point stands its only 1/2 a game of the first preseason game, if they win games and get to the playoffs it won't matter

and its only a two point game.

It's very valuable, but he's gotta score man. Ain't nobody getting paid 40 mill per for hockey assists. One thing that is immediately clear is that CMB has a way better first step than Scottie.

I absolutely agree that he has to score. I just think two things are happening in this game regarding Barnes.

-Barnes is not really included in the offence at all, by design
-Barnes’ attempts have mostly come when his teammates have handed him a grenade and he hasn’t done well trying to create off broken plays

I think that's fair. Also he creates easy looks for everyone else, but he doesn't have anyone who creates easy looks for him.

Listen I’m not saying Barnes is some great scorer, but he’s a great impact player overall with his defence, ability to start the break, and make great reads.

Like he’s barely scored this game but he’s been the best player on the team if we are watching objectively.
