Well, he still likely will be. If he's a 52 TS% guy as a #3/4 option we are pretty screwed.
what do you see in his game that shows he can be more efficient off ball? His jump shot has gotten worse somehow.

Every Raptor other than Scottie Barnes has scored a field goal. Will that change in the second half?

Nah, there’s an age old saying… play your best 5, not your 5 best

RJ is the 2nd best guy out there tonight and will be on many nights. He's not the problem.

Oh I agree he hasn’t been the issue thus far. Just saying fit matters more than just choosing your 5 best players

idk if this is true but I think I read somewhere that his trainer is his friend and not some professional trainer.

Isn't he part of a collective of professional trainers?

no clue man. Just a thought on why Scotties offence shows no signs of improvement.

How many years left on his deal?

Game 1 of pre-season of course, but he will not survive Scottie playing like this.

He's gonna have the JJ Redick career arc

Redick, if nothing else, was an elite shooter in the NBA from day 1. He had a lot of other issues, but he was the shooter he was billed as. Dick's problem is that he's not the shooter we were promised. If he was an elite shooter, all of these below average but not terrible traits he has (decent mobility, ok cutting and finishing, can create a smidgen..etc), would actually make him special. But if he's just an ok or even good shooter, then being below average at everything else just makes him a bad player.

We disagree on the best 5, clearly.

He should be more efficient just from shooting the ball less which would mean more of his shots come at the rim.
