So the guy who people thought maybe couldn't play tonight, hit a home run, but is possibly limping around?

I have no access to baseball so asking for the summary

Still 21 only. He might be on the best deal in baseball right now.

What's his contract situation? I'm a casual

Looked fine until then, but it was a bit of a bloop pop-up and he ran a long way for it. Straightened up that right leg and avoided putting weight on it for a couple steps afterwards. Could have just been another precaution though!

Brewers had such a big pitching advantage going into this series, even without Woodruff. That's basically the story.

eight-year, $82 million contract signed before he even debuted in the majors.

Underrated degree of difficulty there. That's what makes this team special.

Plus 2 team option years
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Do we let Jackson play much more tonight?

He looks pretty fine to me. Maybe you pull him right here since he might not come up again in a leverage situation.

I think he's running pretty gingerly to be honest. That near-collision seemed to mess with him a little, and he's trotting somewhat stiffly on the right leg compared to the left one. I personally would have run for him there. Not too early to bring in Lockridge for defense either, since Chourio isn't running full-speed in the field.

Get through this clean and you go Uribe and Megill to end it?

Oh FFS why would you pull Patrick? He looked absolutely great and had like 1.5 K's with an ERA under 2 in his last 5 regular season games as well.

Why not just ride Patrick? Unless it’s more about getting the pen get their normal work with another day off tomorrow.
