Cubs have just 2 singles and 3 walks since the 1st inning, and 1 single plus 2 walks since the 2nd, with none of the latter coming in the same inning and none of them advancing past first base.

Don’t understand this either. I was almost wondering if he could have finished the game, or cruised until needed.

We’re fresh and have a day off tomorrow so it’s not a big deal. But I’m with you.

Yeah, Koenig pitched 1 IP with 17 pitches on Saturday and didn't need work today, but it worked out fine.

Good spot to give Megill an inning. Let Uribe finish it
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Nice job Megill Benny Rodriguezing that so Smalls, I mean Chourio didn't have to move to catch it.

Megill looked like he was taking it easy a bit there, but still plenty effective. Good command other than than one yippy one.

You know that feeling that the postseason was just too big of a stage for some of them the past several seasons? There's not even a hint of that this year. Chemistry does matter.

15 retired in a row after the Hoerner single, with 7 k's. Very nice. Sexy af, really.
