fascinating the Giants have the hardest remaining SOS in the league. This will get ugly for Daboll and Schoen.

The fact that Beau Collins is still employed by this team is exactly what is wrong with a Daboll coached team

How the f*ck are you giving up on routes

All that soft coverage and trash run defense. Dart can throw for 400, 3 TDs on good efficiency and we'd still lose

Flacco and a 6th traded to Bengals for a 5th. Wilson is probably here for the rest of the season.

https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/46521433/saquon-barkley-asked-giants-owner-trade-23-season

saquon documentary coming out in a couple of days. a few notable things from the article from saquons perspective

he handed in a trade request to joe schoen and joe schoen said ownership wouldn't accept that
he eventually talked to john mara and asked him personally permission to seek a trade and john mara said no.
he says we offered him $23m over 2 years all guaranteed while the eagles gave him 37m over 3 years with 26m guaranteed.
he says if the front office handled his contract negotiations differently, he would have signed for us for 10 or 11m/year

I believe him. Schoen is a complete dick head that doesn't deserve the benefit of a doubt at this point.

I want them all gone. Mara should have granted the trade request.

If this documentary is as damning as the reporting says, this should be the end of Schoen. He needs to be fired.

This is why I was never upset with Barkley.

well, schoens hands are tied with regards to the trade request. nothing he can do if mara gives a hard no on it. it's egregious that mara would say, "we can't trade him he's too valuable" while simultaneously letting him walk in free agency for free. it makes no sense and this type of meddling is why we are where we are.

obviously since it's a saquon doc, it's going to be just his truth, might not be the absolute truth because i do recall him saying he wanted to be paid like CMC and apparently, he'd had his heart set on joining the eagles the year before he actually signed with them, while he was playing with us so he's definitely talking out of both sides of his mouth. oh well, i'll probably still watch it

Apparently Giants coaches are saying that Schoen is meddling in playing time more than any GM they've ever dealt with.

Setting up Dart to fail tbh

Like, I'm not saying you can't be successful as a QB with a bad team your rookie year, but especially bad line play and uncreative playcalls can really lead to bad habits developing which take years to correct, regardless of talent

Especially seeing how many QBs are having resurgences well into their careers the past few seasons. It's not a talent issue, it's a development issue.
BaF Lakers:

Nikola Topic/Kasparas Jakucionis
VJ Edgecombe/Jrue Holiday
Shaedon Sharpe/Cedric Coward
Kyle Filipowski/Collin Murray-Boyles
Alex Sarr/Clint Capela

Bench: Malcolm Brogdon/Hansen Yang/Rocco Zikarsky/RJ Luis Jr.
