Does Joan have a health problem. He looked great in the last game.

He's 18 years old and the regular bigs are all playing.

Maybe he's proven himself already and they're saving him for when the games count. Is he still 18?
Edit: Yep for another Month.

Feels like Jaylen really helped the team's tempo out there

Randle is a PF, Naz is a PF who started the game at SF. Rudy is a legit big. We ran TSJ at the 4. I hate small ball, and we look like we plan to run it.

I think Donte DiVincenzo needs to start. I love Mike Conley, but he doesn't really bring anything to the table outside of stabilizing/slowing the tempo when he is out there (he is really struggling defensively, tonight).

13:20, Zero shot attempts, one assist, one turnover, two fouls.

(He just got fouled while I am typing this, so potential for two free-throws.) I don't think you can start a player who is a nonfactor as a scorer and isn't a defensive specialist. This is particularly true when you have two other ball-dominant players.

If not for the headbutt he stole the ball clean.

Naz with a hand injury. I hope he's OK.

Tip looked in time and no basket interference as far as I can see.

That brought back Andrew Sendejo flashbacks.

NBA needs to adopt the international rule. Once the ball bounces off the rim it's fair game for offense and defense.

Typical pre-season games. Not much to learn from it. We don't play much defense except Jalen.

Today was definitely a bad matchup for Mike

Watching Joan move out there on defense is so fun! You can definitely notice the soccer background....

Not too thrilled at Bones Hyland giving up on a play defensively because of a bad switch.

Minnesota has a serious Point-Guard issue going into this season, losing NAW is a huge deal.

Funny how some peoples here jump into conclusion after one and half pre-season games... Rob not good enough for NBA, Mike should not start....i'm glad they do not manage the Wolves! Nothing to worry for me, just warm up. The good surprise is Hyland, he is not perfect but make an impact and do his best to earn min in the rotation.

Can we trade for a good enough point guard without trading a high salary player? That is the question.
