We talk about cub fans coming up north, what about brewers fans heading south??

If it's anything like Game 163 back in 2018 (last time a Brewers/Cubs game was this meaningful), I'm hoping plenty of us are gonna make it down there. Maybe it's my nostalgia but that crowd seemed like it was a straight up 50/50 split.

Cheapest tix today in the $130-$140 range, cheaper than games 1 and 2. I think there will be a fair amount of Brewers fans there.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I also think there will be a good amount of Brewers fans. Looks like Cubs fans are selling off as ticket prices are better there today than they were in Milwaukee, at least on the 200 level and higher.

There's a lot of really bad seats at Wrigley though. Gotta be careful.

Hope Chourios Hammy doesn't have any hiccups this game.

Curious if Vaughn/Bauers will be a straight platoon for the entire playoff run

Then why Bauers (1-9 vs. Taillon) instead of Vaughn (3-9 with a homer)

A guess:

With the wind blowing in at Wrigley, they're going for their best speed/defense lineup possible with Bauers/Lockridge. Perkins is a great defender, so not sure there.

The ball is likely going to remain in the park - do your best to manufacture some runs and prevent their hits from finding grass.

Yeah if wind is a factor that makes sense.

Looks like one of Ned's sunday lineups after the top 4.

I'm loathe to distrust Pat about anything at this point, but this feels like you're officially getting too cute with lineups. I don't know how you're not trying to give Vaughn as many AB's as possible, and the Lockridge over Perkins thing doesn't make a lick of sense if the rationale is speed/defense. Hopefully it's all moot and we sweep these ****.

Wanting to keep the bench engaged and sharp may weigh in as well. He may end up being wrong but im sure he's got reasons beyond agitating fans.
only a fan, only an opinion
