I like Williams' mobility.

Hear me out. Hugo develops into Andrei Kirilenko except 3 inches shorter.

Wow, that was a hell of a finish by Kendall Brown.

He had a possession earlier where he played some really solid on ball defense too.

Decent player. He's a pro. Should either be on an NBA contract, a 2-way or be getting big minutes somewhere overseas.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

That would certainly be his ceiling.

If he hits it, that'd be awesome.

I was surprised he was able to run point at all. I didn't know his ball handling was as good as it is. And his athleticism is legit, which is what the scouting reports said, but you never know until you see it on an nba court.

Yeah, he does seem to play the PG fairly well. That's the hardest position. If he can sub-in at times, that would really be great.

Always good to have depth and options. Also provides value as a secondary ball handler in other lineups

Wonder if the knee is still bothering Luis? He missed all of summer league with knee soreness..

I think with Joe it's a seniority issue. Luis is late to the party, I expect he'll get some burn in the next game or so, but who knows.

Not sure about the knee, but I think he's going to be overall better than those guys once he gets an opportunity.

OMG, RJ's first action and he gets dunked on in an inbound play! :o

Caruso would be a nice consolation prize.

That deep bench unit didn't look too bad. All 5 of them looked ok..

Solid 1st preseason game.

Luckily he had a couple of buckets after to make up for it.

Still looks like his 2-way spot might be in jeopardy. Perhaps a battle for the last 2 way spot between Luis, Brown, Bridges and Harper.

Then RJ had a couple nice opportunistic plays. He has a nose for the ball, maybe too much tunnel vision, but a fluid finisher.

Cs look more athletic now.

Last season they were looking old.

More running up and down the court, more energy guys being disruptive on defense, and they're fighting for loose balls.

The Cs will exceed expectations this season, especially when Tatum returns.

Could have asked for much more. Hugo, Minott, Garza and Boucher all looked pretty good.

Brown and White - I expect that from them but it's still fun to watch them.

Baylor - that was gross. Be better.

Great to have Celtics ball back. Looking forward to seeing the guys who sat on Friday.

Yep. Hugo, Minott, Garza, Boucher all played with hunger. Like to see Ron Harper Jr play more for us, too.

One area of concern is rebounding.

Cs need to do a better job rebounding the ball.

Those other guys seem more stable with skills as role players. RJ is more ...mercurial? Meaning, he's going to differentiate himself from that pack or be gone. Seems like a player that will need the ball to be successful.

OTOH, he brings a different look, perhaps eventually a better compliment than Walsh, if I may be so bold. It's too early to tell, but as Minott and González prove to be decent 2-Way players, RJ could be groomed as a bench scorer.
